Course Curriculum Overview
Things like electric propulsion unit, constrction of dams and wind tunnels, the mashing of cars in this course safety factors and countless things made me look into this course. Things ill suggest to improve are involvement of things like projector, more models apart from labs and interactive study sessions with quizzes.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Indigo, Hero, Honda and Kia are quite active here with roles including sales, safety, quality department. Their stipened ranged from ₹13000 a week, ik this because one of my friends went there for the post of quality assurance. The tasks involved were very basic and fit for our level
Placement Experience
Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for each semester ie 6 month is around ₹102080 including labs and everything, speaking of caution fee it is a refundable amount of ₹10000 so for yearly it becomed around 2 lakhs including the tution fee, speaking of miscellaneous I come from Palam Vihar, Gurgaon so i have opted for college bus which is around ₹56000 per semester and yearly ₹112000 so total ₹672000
Campus Life
We have a wide variety of things going on every year including - Amifest, Dandiya night, Korean festivals and many more we also have the freshers ice break session and party to welcome new students. Clubs like Humkaar, Ek awaaz often help students find their niche to grow
Admission
I applied in NCU because it was close to my house i also applied in Sharda university and then j applied at amity. The reson for me to choose this college is due to its renowned name and multiple branches in and outside of India. I was accepted into all 3 because of my 10+2 score however the availability of wide range of mechanical setups and labs is what made me attract here. And yeah i was made to give a entrance test
Faculty
There is never a shortage of teachers in my department. Also the teacher's are ways on time. Tbvh there isn't a single teacher who i dont like or admire they are warm welcoming and passionate about teaching us. The curriculum is relevant the exams are not hard but challenging and its fun actually.
Night Life
Im not staying in hostel but I've been here for a few days during dandiya night. All the cafes were decorated with bright lights, the air felt cool, the campus felt quiet and dense, as if i were had just entered a forest but it felt great the libraries do close at 5Pm sharp so yeah talking of the gymnasium and cafeterias some of them do close early but some are open. Some great hangout places include Banyan tree, Deja Brew cafe, Dosa plaza and C block foyer. At night its very verry safe as the campus is guarded we have police cars and gypsies roaming here and there and incase of a problem / scenario they always come and respond first and proper action is taken against the guilty. Speaking of me i enjoyed the Night stay in my army camp too it was winter and thats when it struck to me the real meaning of teamwork i made some friends ill never forgive and that sole military training became one of my best things to ever do. Truly miss that edperience And I wish to redo it.
