What Students Say

Likes

Good environment and greenery, ut also had a beautiful campus

Dislikes

Difficulty level of examination is very high
Marks are not awarded according to our strength
Competitive surrounding, difficulty to manage co curricular in same pace

Course Curriculum Overview

Out course ha s great outcomes in future as ht gives us opportunity to get in placement in tech companies as well as cor eand non tech companies. It is also not very difficult to complete our course in duration.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for my B.Tech program at NSUT increases slightly each year. In the first year, I paid around ?2.4 lakhs, which went up to ?2.5 lakhs in the second year, ?2.7 lakhs in the third year, and ?2.9 lakhs in the fourth year. The total cost of the entire course comes to about ?10.5 lakhs, with an annual fee hike of approximately 4-5%. Luckily, NSUT offers some helpful scholarship options. There are merit-based scholarships for the top 5% of students in each program every year, covering the tuition fee if we pass all subjects on the first attempt. Plus, there’s financial aid for students from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories, along with the Chhatra Vittiya Sahayta Evam Protsahan Kosh (CVSPK) scheme, which provides extra support through a simple application process.

Campus Life

Overall exyof college is great as it has a beautiful campus and great peers, but it don't have good badminton court which is a downpoint of this college. Their are some clubs also in college which helps us to grow both mentally and spiritually.

Admission

This is a great college as it is the teir 1 college in India and one of the best college in Delhi. IITs are likely to be more good but we have to score more in our competitive exams to get into it. Admission in this is only from JAC Delhi councelling.

Faculty

Faculty are not that great they just appeared in classes and starts to read lectures from ppt. They also read it like it was a story not a subject. Examination are good and they are checked multiple times before giving the result

Night Life

Nightlife is also great in it. It has a inbuilt gym and have all necessary equipment to keep our body in shape all time. Hostel are small and don't have air conditioner. Their are some outlets where we can go and hangout when we feel bordem in hostel

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor. If someone is from outside Delhi then for coding culture you should join NSUT while for fun and fests, you should join DTU....Read More

I didn't get a rejection from other colleges, but I myself choose not to there, as NSUT is a reputed college and government college for btech. It is one of the top college in delhi. 3.
