Remarks

85% Attendance is compulsory in our college specially in mechanical engineering. It is taken very seriously.so I don’t know is it positive or negative remark but I thinks it’s negative for me also there is not much extracurricular activity rest is good

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This college used to Follow VTU Syllabus Early but now it has been converted to an autonomous College and follows its own university PES university.Exam structure is quite normal like other colleges there is 3 internal exams and at the end one semester exams per semester

Placement Experience

3.5

It’s quite Better than most of the private university in India. All the beaches have a good percentage of students placed every year. Specially computer science students here also bags a good package

College Events

There are not much even that happens in our college, some of them are - MAYA it’s college annual fest and most important one, apart from this we have a sports competition and activity Day and a Project Mela

Fee Structure And Facilities

It’s Expensive according to me but it has various scholarship options for state board students and also some scholarships for poor students.Since I don’t have any scholarships so I don’t have much idea about it

Fees and Financial Aid

Sorry I didn’t availed any kind of loan or scholarship from college.there are may offers that are given by state government of Karnataka to residents of Karnataka. And also for poor students. But there is no scholarships option for non Karnataka students

Campus Life

labs is a part of our syllabus. Our college have all labs in good working conditions and a proper lab instructor which are required in our syllabus.we have a big cricket and football ground and 2 basketball courts

Hostel Facilities

It’s 4.2/5 infrastructure is quite good a Healthy and hygienic environment is there. Washrooms also clean and dry.there are lot of sports activity facilities available. if you talk about food it’s average or some time below average

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

There is not a great alumni network with us.Senior don’t play much important role in our college like in other colleges in India it’s quite limited interaction with seniors only hostel student have some interaction

Admission

I gave the entrance exam called COMMEDK ,But I didn’t scored a good rank required for this college; you should be among top scorer to get this college though it vary brach to brach ;so I got admitted here by Management Kota

Faculty

All the faculties here are good and well qualified. Most of them are experts in there field.Along with teaching there also involved in research works. The always try to have a personal interaction with students

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

The real truth about PES

I applied for NITS, IITs, and Bits. I couldn't clear JEE advanced. I cleared mains and Bits, but I didnt get desired NITs and desired Bits and branches.I chose this college rather than other nits because of the Bangalore exposure you get. I had jee percentile of 97. I chose this college because of the exposure it provides and the curriculum and constantly improving placement and internship opportunities. I wasn't able to clear other exams due to personal health reasons. There are 5 types of admissions. Pessat- The rank should be below 5k to get any branch in the college preferably below 2.5k for cse, but this mode is not there from 2025. Jee mains- above 97% percentile. Kcet - below 5k for the general category, below 12k for obc, and below 30k for sc st. The admission experience is hassle-free and Pessat counselling takes place offline....Read More
