Remarks

Christian college Chengannur is situated on a mountain. Trees evert where and it is far away from town we can see the love for nature and trees are beautifully planted on the both sides of the road to the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is fantastic and very good. exams are conducted by kerala university and it is in semester wise. There are 6 semesters are there . First semester and second semester are in the first year. Third sem and fourth sem are in second year. Fifth sem and sixth sem are in last year

No, our college doesn't provide any placements or job opportunities. Although it's an arts college we can't expect that kind of thing from an arts college. I can say it is the best arts college in chengannur

Every special occasion are celebrated in the college. College day is the biggest event and it is conducted inside our huge auditorium ONAM CELEBRATION HOLI CELEBRATION CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION COLLEGE DAY CELEBRATION

Fee Structure And Facilities

Christian college Chengannur is a aided college by the govt. When i was studied there i have to pay a small amount of money 2000/- per semester and although its not a big deal. And you have to pay if you are doing Lab practices

No there is not any type of good scholarship or loan facility is offered by the college and i don't know much about that. When i eas studying there there is no loan facility is available there. I don't know now is it available

Campus Life

Cricket and Wrestling are the main extra curricular activity in this college they have taken many trophies and other medals in intwr college championships. Badminton and volleyball are also there in the college

Hostel Facilities

Both boys and girls hostel are provided by the college management. I don't know the fees structure about it and girls hostel are well maintained and boys are also nice for guys whose home is far away from the college

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumini and senior students are very helpfull and they will help in our studies if we have any doubts we can discuss with our seniors and clear it without any fear they are very positive and friendly

Admission

Merit. Single window allotment system by govt. I got merit seat in allotment. And i got an interview call from the office. And i submitted my SSLC and 12th certificates in the office after i have to meet our dept heads. They will give details about all the rules and regulations in the college

Faculty

I was studied there in. 2015-2018 the faculty of the bcom dept was very good and we can freely talk to them. They are very friendly and caring. We can ask doubts at any time and they are very responsible and complete their portions on time

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

The college campus is not that much big and it's fine for us. There is taking new building and the working is still processing.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose
Lab facilities are presnet for better teaching .

Dislikes

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . The exam that are held in colleges are mostly difficult bout not that difficult that an average peraon can acheive mark if they work hard or give their mind to the subjects.

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent
Wifi availability is inside the campus and fast connection
International level infrastructure drinking water availability

Dislikes

No better placements, very poor placement services
Experienced staffs is less and very few teachers is good
No regular bus service in to college and is very poor

I like electrical and electronics so i choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well in the field. Need Improve in internship field. Need improvement in friendly teaching. Exams are coming so fast we don't get much time for relaxation.. Exams is simple.

The Wonderful Times.

I opted as first preference while registration is christian college... and i allotted to that college in first itself in merit. The admission process were very boring for me... the interview process were formative. I heard a lot about this college from my friends and relatives. But the fact is beyond my imagination when i start experiencing the college days with teaching and non teaching staffs. My honest review for my lovely college

I choose this college as one of my mum's friend was one of the staff there jn the college and he said he would always help me out when I'm in need and that's also one of the nearest college in my surroundings. I was actually trying to enrolled myself in a better and far away colleges but due to Covid, my mum lost her job and we don't want to be seperated from each other during hard times.
