College review

Since AiMl is the scope full career in this time,I chose this course with the aspirations to become an AiMl engineer. The course subjects include data structures and algorithms, programming languages like python and R ,machine learning etc.the college also added subjects like life skills and coding session which helps to improve both the soft and technical skills. Exams are conducted twice in a sem,and the question paper is formed mainly from the taught syllabus.

Job fairs are held in college every year where different companies with different skill set requirements are present. Few students apply and get the internship opportunities. From freshers to 4 th year everyone is encouraged to participate.

Placements do occur in this college but the percentage of students who get campus placements are less. Only the very skilled and prepared students are able to make it. Eligibility criteria includes scoring a cgpa of more than 6.5 and having no back in any exam. Job fairs are held in college every year and students from first year are motivated to try and apply. The highest package is 36 LPA as per website. After third year i plan to apply for internships outside college but also try my hand on in campus placements too.

Btech CSE with AIML specialization costs 2.4 Lakh rupees a year which is the tution fees.Last year it was 2.2 Lakh rupees. I also received a scholarship of 35% for scoring above 85% in boards in the first year. For continuation of scholarship a cgpa of above 9.3 is required.

One fest is held every year for the freshers. Once it was held in the month of February when nora fatehi was invited. There is a huge library in the basement where books from various genre are available. A we'll build playground is built for students to play various sports like badminton,athletic, cricket, tennis etc.indoor games like chess carrom table tennis is also available. Cultural clubs,dance club,music club and many other clubs are present demanding student participation and engagement.

The accomodation facility is applaudable for the hostellers. Facilities like ac, badminton court,gym etc provided.the meal is not very appreciable. Some students have taken accommodation in the nearby room or pg.they face issues with food but the area is fine.

Colleges like IIT and NIT required really high jee score especially for a course like btech CSE AIML. Also I wanted to apply to a college which could provide me with good transportation services so that I could save more time in a day. Also the reviews of this college very pretty good compared to other colleges based on academics, faculty etc.

The faculty here is really supportive. They actively share all the resources with the students and help them with their doubts. The faculty tries to maintain a friendly and professional relationship with the students to ensure active participation. Faculties like Ms Sonam, Ms Radhika Gupta, Mr Abhishek were especially very helpful with their subjects. Exams are conducted twice in a sem: the half yearly and the finals with practicals.

I had a two level interview before being admitted here.the first round was more soft skills based and the second round was technical round where I was asked about the skills I knew like languages, databases etc. they asked basic questions regarding it. I was prepared with these skills from my school days.

My favourite hangout spot is the ground area where my friend group can hang around and chill. Other hangout places include cafeteria,indoor games,library etc. Hostellers get to roam around the college till 10 in the night.the night life is very pleasant around inside the college campus.
