Likes

The infrastructure is best you can get here . The quality education is good . They provide well education
They give opportunity time to time like hackathon, pateint idea
They encouraged students to take exams like neptel in university

Dislikes

The fee is quite high according to other collage
They not provide non veg in campus . We have to go out to eat it .
They charge unnecessary for hostel things at the end of semester

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curreculam is upto date like new technology is added in sllybus like ai and ml and also robotics things . Time to time they encouraged us to create and think some new ideas and then they also help in building patients

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft and google also come in collage but for good students only not for bulk . Most companies provide internship only . Is on you if you did projects and had a good knowledge in computing then you can grab .

Placement Experience

The placement starts at 4th semester. Only for those who cleared all exams and have cgpa greater then 6. More then 100 companies visits lpu . Percentage of students placed is low nearly 20. Avg package is 3.5 lpa and highest 50 lpa .

Fees and Financial Aid

The new fee is 140000 Per semester tution fee . In which we can get upto 30 percent scholarship acc to lpu next exam . For me it's 120000 and I got 30000 scholarship and after scholership it became 90k per semester.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good thing and it provide facility like sports and playground. Where we can play apart from our collage . There are many clubs and societies where we can enroll and develop our skills

Hostel Facilities

Food quality is Avg . Not bad. But you can also eat by paying them 80 rs per plate . You can resister for hostel online portal of University ums. Beside the collage you can easily get pg on rent of 10 k

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I chooses this collage because I didn't have any outher option . I not able to qualify Jee mains and then on behalf of cuet marks I had taken addmission in this collage .The process of admission is so simple . You just need to call lpu helpline no and they will explain you each and every steps

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is bad 1 faculty for 80 students in a class . The exam pattern is easy . We have to give Ca then mid term the. End term . If you focus on class you can pass easily . All teachers are good .

Night Life

There is gym in campus itself . We can go outside campus by applying leave . And we can apply leave upto 7 pm only after theat we need special permission. There are places to to eat fastfood and fruits inside campus

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
