What Students Say

Likes

I liked things like ecosystem, parking facilities
The surrounding of trees are good and healthy
The blocks are so near to each other making it simple

Dislikes

The bathroom facilities are worse making it so hard to use it
The non allowance of car inside campus for studnets
The small and old architecture of the college

Course Curriculum Overview

This is the main lag in our college making it tough to make many students not getting placed. They are not teaching students on the basis of getting placed in other way they are making students dump the curriculum in order to finish sylabbus.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 127000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering provides a fees structure of 1.27lakh for management students that means who are not coming under scholarship or counselling quota,so for those who are coming under counselling they will have fees only for 97k

Campus Life

The overall experience was good because of the friends circle I got in this college.Because it proved me that even with bunch of scrap you can build treasure with it.So certain things will fall into it.

Admission

Being a keralite ,I chose this college because the thing happpening in kerala was, they have good educating skills, but they often start to strike colleges which makes it tougher to get job. That is the only reason I chose this college

Faculty

The number of students to staffs ratio are good, but the knowledge of certain staffs are not upto the mark to teach it and make it to the students. And certain staffs have the potential but they are not making it

Night Life

I am staying in room that out resides the college.I found the room environment happier than the hostel environment because the hostel students are facing certain rules like children but in the room it doesnt applied.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

Likes

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming.
