Remarks

The institution in academic regards is excellent and what is negative about this institution is politics. There is union of political party which always try to rule over students. There is no freedom of speech. You can't showcase any negative fact about this institution in public or you have to face their moral policing.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This college follows same exam structure followed by all colleges under the university. Marks given on sessional viva are not transparent at all almost everytime average marks are given and partiality takes place.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement is not good at all, As this is a government institution it have legally no liability to give placements so complaining about placement is irrevalent. Training and placement cell tries their level best to get students jobs.

College Events

3.5

Events celebrated here are Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja. Fresher's welcome, annual cultural fest. Campus life is almost excellent. We all enjoy these programs very much. Also annual sports is organised, not very big but still good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

?1000 (approx) per year. This is a government financed institution. Examination fees of semester is only ?250. Very much cheap compared to other private institutions. Also if you are a TFW or Kanyashree Holder then fees are very low for you.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only scholarship students get are scholarship provided by state government. College office is not very helpful in these regards. It takes a lot of time to process and scholarship document or any railway consession from office. As they follows government office culture they are lazy and reluctant in their line of duty which is frustrating.

Campus Life

3

Almost no extracurricular activities are there. Sports organized is just as formality. There are no clubs for extra curricular activities. Only window to showcase extra curricular activities is the annual cultural fest of fresher's welcome.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is hostel only for female students. Security is always there and food is also available. Houses are clean and there is permanent housekeeping staff available for chores. Cook is also there for fooding.

Alumni/Alumna

Once senior students are passed out almost no one have contact with college. Alumni committee is just for show. No students ever get help from them. They just exists to boss over present students like they own the college, like that.

Admission

I had to clear JEXPO examination and then through online counseling I got allotment here. I had to be a Secondary pass and a valid JEXPO rank holder. With Allotment generated from counseling reached college and after checking of documents admission was completed.

Faculty

4

Faculties are good and helpful which is the only good thing about this institution. one or two faculties are really useless which made us wonder how they managed to secure their jobs, except them all teachers are very good and always supportive.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)
