What Students Say

Likes

The Most Amazing thing here is the Academics
College faculties are well qualified and they are very helping
The Campus is ragging free and also very friendly to beginners

Dislikes

Obviously the mess food quality and the cleanliness in mess
Not a well maintained campus and small campus
Placement here is also not up to the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

Our College Gita has the best Academic among all the private colleges in Odisha , Class are well maintained , Faculty are experienced but the lab is not up to the mark like literally they need to improve the lab and the maintanence should be done

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement of our college is decent as a private 3rd tier college, but placement is decreasing year by year and the number of students are increasing rapidly. The highest placement from this college is about 12lpa in Byjus .

Fees and Financial Aid

The Course fees for my Course is around 140000 per year and hostel fees is around 70000. Also Including hostel and course fees for 1st year is around 225000 total. There are Scholarship opportunities in the college statewise and also many national scholarships.

Campus Life

If you want to enjoy the college life campus life and all there is nothing like that you just have to move and motivate yourself and study hard here also if you are around good people then definately you will enjoy

Hostel Facilities

If you are First year then your hostel is very good and are in competition with tier 1 colleges , specially hostel no. 14 bcz it's new , it has washing machine facility and room are very spacious and all

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I chooses Gita because in this fees range , it is the one of best among all the colleges in Bhubaneswar and also it is best among all the Gandhi group colleges but If you have a will do something and you are passionate then this college will definately help you

Faculty

The college faculties is pretty good and if you maintain respect with them they will surely help you but one thing must is that the 75 percentage attendance criteria, from my 1st year experience i found Professor Lyndon Thomic Das the best faculty if you really want to be ready for tech industry communitcation skills

Night Life

Nothing Such as night life in this college, get the dinner around 9pm and go to your room and sleep . Many people's play cricket basketball and all in the college road bcz the maintenance of the campus is very bad

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Campus Chronicles

I chose this college because it aligned with my academic interests, offered a vibrant campus life, and provided excellent career opportunities. The faculty's expertise in my field of study and the availability of research opportunities were major deciding factors. My college is located in a city with ample internship and job opportunities. Some other colleges were in remote areas with fewer prospects for networking. For some competitive colleges, I fell short on specific criteria such as standardized test scores or extracurricular achievements. In hindsight, I could have prepared earlier or gained more relevant experiences to enhance my application....Read More
