Course Curriculum Overview
I had a fantastic experience stydying in PR & Event Management and the course is well structured and covers a wide range of topics from the fundamentals of PR to the practical aspects of event planning and execution.
Internships Opportunities
Public Relations society of India, Kolkata Chapter, Daughtor, Video Factory, The You Brand, SVF, Hoichoi, Wake & Bake are some of the companies that were there for Internships and the stipend varied mostly and some were unpaid internships as well. And mosly the roles offered were PR or Event related or graphic designing roles
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees that i paid was around Rs.54000 per semester for 4 semesters. it was a 2 year course as I was pusuing my masters and my major was Masters in Public Relations and Event Management. There were scholarship facilities as well for students with good cgpa. Also, students who had completed their Bachelors Degree from Amity University as well also received a good amount of discount in their semester fees every semester while paying the sesmester fees.
Campus Life
Amiphoria, Street Plays, Teachers Day, Childrens Day, Photography Exhibition, Art Exhibition, Mahalaya Celebration are some of the very prominent events of Amity University Kolkata that took place every year.
Admission
The university provides excellent infrastructure including well equiped classrooms and a library and resouces that enhance the learning experience and thus I chose this university over others and applied to Amity University Kolkata only.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is absolutely fine and the relationship with faculties has always been very friendly and whenever we had any problems they have always showed us support and have helped us in every possible way. The faculties helped us with every possible thing and were always avaible for help even after college hours especially during the times of assignment submissions and exams. They are also very knowledgeable and have prepared us in the best possible way.
Night Life
Nightlife in and around the college life is pretty safe for the people in Hostel. Famous Hangout spots near the college were some cafes such as Coffee House Newtown, the shaks that are there hold lots and lots of memories and the college canteen as well.
