I also liked the behaviour of faculty,our batchmates also.
I also liked the discipline of University.
I also liked the security of Hostel and campus.

Dislikes

No free transport means in University in which we can go to our classes at time.
Time limit is also a bad thing in Gym, because 45 min. Is not sufficient.
The last one thing I don't like is that less holidays of campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here,I am pursuing B.tech CSE Course and in our campus more than 10 thousand students are pursuing this course. The Faculty of B.tech All are well educated from IITs etc. Our University is known for their highest packages.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

In 6th to 7th semester students are able for getting placement.Their are many big companies visit in our campus like Amazon, Google, Paytm, Microsoft.The highest packages of our University is 2.5 crore and average package is 10 to 14 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm Sachin pursuing B.tech CSE Course from Lovely professional University, Phagwara. My year wise fees is Nearly 4,00,000 My Tuition fees is 1,40,000 per Semester. My batchmates pay less fees than me by giving some scholarship tests. We got scholarship via LPU Nest.

Campus Life

Everyday their are many events held in our university.Many of the students participating in them and got rewards.The faculty and technology provision within the classroom is Via projector.All types of sports activities offered in our campus.

Hostel Facilities

My room is three seater and their are 4 bed and 4 study table in room and two almirah. Mess food is nice and the warden are very attentive about students.Everyday warden check the students in room or not.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

Before choosing Lpu,I was waiting for our CUET Result,and when the result declared.I got good score.I was selected in DU for my course.but, after my selection everyone in our family saying that DU discipline is not well and now a days politics played in government college that why I come in Lpu.

Faculty

Their are many staff members in our campus even all staff members are very good and intelligent.The way of teaching is unique.I liked all staff members but the one which I most like is Dr. Ayush. Our Mathematics Teacher because when he teach us he depply attached with the students and treat them as a friend

Interview Experience

No,I am fresher generally we are not know anything about group discussion.Only now we are preparing for our mid term exam.We will issue book from the library and Then we will study from them.We will try to give our best.

Night Life

Yes,the nightlife of our campus is better.Their are many places in University which remains open in nights.Even after dinner we can roam in parks.Everywhere in University is covered with lights and cameras.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
