Likes

The thing I like the most is safety .lpu take cares of all students safety
Another thing is that the campus is neat and clean and well disciplined
Third thing is that the campus provide anti ragging environment

Dislikes

There is no transport facility to go to college for free
Gym timing is only 45 minute they should increase this
When rain came hostel ground filled with water

Course Curriculum Overview

I am doing btech cse from here . They also provide us real time project . Campus also give us chance to study abroad. This is the main thing I like here . May be student in a section can be less . As there are 75 student in one section teacher can not pay attention to all

There are many companies which are visiting our college to give internship to student they give different role to different student according to their capabilities there are many project which teacher tell us to do

Placement Experience

Yes the placement rate are high in this college as it provide 80 percent placement to student if I didn't get placement from college I can apply to any company after getting my degree from lpu or I can go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I am paying to lpu is 168000 as I have also got 20percent schorship from lpu nest exam and 20percent schorship from financial aid as my father was retired army person . Student can get scholarship from lpunest upto 100percent

Campus Life

There are many functions held in our campus like ganesh chaturthi and many celebrities also came here to visit there are also many books in library our library have 8 floor and it also provide separate space for study without any charges

Hostel Facilities

Facility provided in room are cooler almirah attached bathroom and study table for each student and bed charging points and a balcony to spread our wet clothes meal are ok we get 3 times meal a day or we can choose accordingly our requirements

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges because it provide placement. It's placements rate are high as compared to other college . It also provide anti ragging environment. So I choose this college over others

Faculty

There are around 75 students in one section . Teacher teaches us in best way . We are taught on projectors . Only math teacher do not taught on projectors. There are CA1 ,CA2also beside these we also have mid term and end term exam .

Interview Experience

No we did not have any group discussion during exam only the person standing there help us to guide I gave the test of lpunest in this I get scholarship so that's why I took admission in lpu and there placement rate is high

Night Life

Gym closing time is 9 pm and this is also same for cafeteria we can stay only till 9 pm outside hostel . Rooms are very safe here as no one disturb us the famous place to visit college is robo park and uni mall

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
