Course Curriculum Overview

5

1: Curriculum ( BBA-MBA Integrated course ) : a) It is a five year programme. You get both UG and PG degree in one stretch b) It is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to GGSIPU c) It provides dual specialization : MBA portion can include speclizations in HR , Marketing , Finance etc 2: Aspects that influenced me to choose this course : a) Saving a year : It is better than doing 3 years BBA and separate 2 year MBA , this integrated course is more streamlined b) No need for MBA entrance exam : Once you enroll in this course, you need not to give separate test for MBA , that a biggest plus 3. Real-world applications : a) Dual specialization helps you to join specific field b) The curriculum includes workshops , seminars , etc that helps to see how business works in practice. It is not purely textbook 4 : About exams : a) Internal assessments which contribute to your 40% of your exams include attendace , presentations , class tests etc b) Diffficulty level is moderate. If you attend lectures regularly , take down notes , there is no such difficulty.

Placement Experience

5

1 : Student eligibiltity for placements : a) Final year students are eligible for campus placements. For integrated BBA-MBA , in later semesters like 9th or 10th when MBA part is near completion 2 : Companies visited and offers : a) There were 90+ companies in 2023 for management b) Placement rate of management courses was 93.8% in 2023 c) Top companies visiting for placement includes Amazon , Paytm , Axis Bank , etc d) Highest package was around INR 20 lakh per annum e) Average package was around 5 lakh per annum 3 : My plans after this course : a) Use the internship opportunities during early semesters to build experience b) Keep options for further studies if needed c) Try to look some off-campus options if needed

Fees and Financial Aid

1: My year wise fees is Rs 1,50,000 2: Fees of my batchmate in bba is Rs 4.92 lakh 3: It offers merit based scholarships for UG students scoring above 80% in 12 standard and PG scholarship for top entrance exam scores

Campus Life

5

Admission

1 : Reasons for choosing this college : a) Strong five year integrated offer : Idea of doing BBA and MBA in one programme is amazing. It saves time , gives continuity , exposure to management content etc b) Affiliations and Recognitions : GIBS is affiliated with GGSIPU, approved by AICTE that gives credibility , trust etc c) Location and Facilities : Being in Delhi/NCR it was easy for in travelling and also it is just 2-3 minutes away from metro station and also there are safe parking facilities for students who prefer to come by their own vehicles. It also has very good infrastructure. 2 : Other colleges : a) I applied in many more colleges namely VIPS , JIMS , NDIM etc in BBA , BCA etc b) I got selected in many colleges including VIPS but did not go for it due to this 5 year integrated course as it was new course which was released previous year. It was saving my time and money. c) For reserved categories , seats are allocated differently. If you apply under general category, competition is very high and also due to the location factors I could not make it to other colleges. 3 : Eligibility criteria : a) Pass 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks , must have passed English. Aggregate is calculated from the best 4 subjects b) Entrance exams : Admission is based on the CET conducted by GGSIPU and CUET conducted by NTA. Students need to take one of this exam c) Cutoffs or ranks : It varies year to year. In 2025, the cutoff of BBA- MBA Integrated was 4567-14831 for general category

Faculty

5

1: Faculty student ratio and relationship : a) Class sizes are 30-50 students for many courses , but usually 30-40 are present regularly b) All the faculties are approchable. They are helpful , kind and also gives extra guidance to students. 2: Faculties that I liked : a) Dr. Dipti Jain : Reason I liked her is that her polite , supportive nature and her way of teaching. b) Ms. Bhawna Gambhir : She gets praise for being sweet and very helpful. 3: Courses and Semesters : a) The programs are divided into semesters. For example : Integrated programs have 10 semesters. b) Marks are given on the basis of your perfromance in class tests , presentations , attendance and minor exams. For many courses, passing marks are around 40% c) Number of exams depend on in which semester you are and what course you are pursuing. Exams are not that difficult, they are easy to moderate. If you are attending classes regularly , making notes on what is being done in class you can easily pass them. Students who fail to do these fail in minor exams.

Night Life

5

1 : Faculties and Campus timing : a) Cafetarea : The campus has dining options. Meals are served throughout the day.But after night, cafeareas tend to wind down. b) Library : Open from around 9 am to 6 pm regularly. During exam periods , library hours may be extended. 2: Hangout spots : a) Metro walk : A big open mall and amusement park complex with food courts , restaurants etc are open late night b) Lounges : A few lounges in Rohini sectors are open late night for dinner and music.
