Remarks

The college is good for what it is. The academics are good , infrastructure is okay, Also orgainses seminar, fest, sport meet to showcase your other talents. But the major downside is the placement and internship you won't find the best here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is good but certainly not the best, could have been better. The course is more of a theorical you won't get a very good practical approach towards the things you study. We have 2 internal exams of 10 mark each in 1 semester which is of 80 marks,Making a total of 100 marks And similarly 6 semester for graduation level

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are very low. Most people come to this college for the degree not for the job. There is no such internship program. But they provide industrial visit once in the graduation program

College Events

The college organises 3-4 seminars every year where renowned personalities are invited. In addition to this ever Ganesh puja and saraswati puja is celebrate im each department. Also the college organises College Fest and Athletic meet every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government college it is very cheap by no means it is expensive. The college also provides various scholarship to backward class students The entire graduation program can be completed in 10000.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a few scholarship programs for the meritorious students like medhabruti etc. There are also relaxation in fee for disabled students and SC/ST stidents The college doesn't provide any loan facility

Campus Life

The college don't provide any training for sports but organises sports tournament every now and then be it cricket or football. The labs are well equipped and maintained. The college library is vast.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network is strong. But You can find them only on linkedin and other places.the college doesn't organises alumni meet.Being the biggest degree college in western odisha the alumni network is quite strong

Admission

The form is available online,u have to submit it online, then wait for the Merit list to be released,if u have your name in the merit list u will be called on the specific date for admission procedure, where u have tu show your original documents and the prescribed fee and you are done.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college are okayish, but thats the best you can get in western odisha for a degree college. The facilities here are well qualified in addition the BEd degree They are punctual enough.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

A pretty good college with scope of improvement

Likes

The campus life is amazing. Our student union is extremely hard-working, and they always come up with some events or other to make your boredom go away
Faculties are very knowledgeable and unlike most colleges, they actually want to teach. The clinical experience is unmatched
Infrastructure is top notch. Single rooms are available from second year, and the hostels are quite well maintained

Dislikes

The curriculum is a bit too strict regarding marks and attendance. A little leniency would have been better
The campus area is a little smaller compared to other AIIMS
Too much administrative red tape causes delay in almost everything, be it installation of new water filters or filling a pothole

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a doctor, and MBBS is the first step to become one, so I choose this course. This course makes you a primary care physician, capable of providing basic healthcare services. And being a bachelor's degree, this is a stepping stone for the future endeavours in medico life. Though I feel there's room for improvement in the flexibility of the course, as there's not much to choose what to study. Exams are once in 2-3 months, and are moderately difficult, except the professional exams, for which you have to put your best efforts

Teaching is very good here , all the teachers are good except a few
Supportive seniors, help with studies n all
You will get a good environment for studies

Dislikes

Well campus isn't as we expected it to be
As always you have to choose your friends wisely
There's not a lot of fests going on yearly as like other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.

In my time the college has its own application process. Now it is under sams. The application was solely based on merit. The marks scored will determine your application acceptance and rejection. The application process is simple filling out form and giving necessary documents. If the application is accepted you have to go to the college for further verification and after this verification you will get enrolled. I have applied for other colleges but they accept more percentage and after selection form this college I have not waited 2nd selection and all and enrolled here....Read More
