Remarks

Good environment for study friendly students and teachers. No direct requirements is a bad side also. Regular class availability. But laboratory infrastructure is little bit average. And the libraries are not so good but also you can say it is bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The education is not so good as well as not so bad. There are two system now I'm a student with 1+1+1 system but this has closed by University now to new system is semester method every year the took 2 exams so total 6 exams for 3 years.

Placement Experience

No the don't provide any internship. This is normal general stream college so there is no internship for direct recruitment recruitment. Here you can just get your degree on several subject Bsc(hons) BA(hons) & BSC & BA general & Msc.

College Events

2

There are some event organised by college like college freshers. Sports events, annual function, department wise fair royal and freshers and some other one day celebrations like Independence day, 25th boishakh ect.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very easy you should pay your admission fee for each and every year and there is no other fee. And overall the total fee structure is very feasible. It's affordable and cheaap No extra charge required.

Fees and Financial Aid

Directly there are no scholarship by college but if you have 55% marks then you will get scholarship by University. There is nothing required more then 55% marks. Then you have to apply for scholarship then you will able to get scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Is there are a lot to f extracurricular activities line NSS NCC and so on. There are department wise laboratory and library and a separate Central library. There are no extra charge for those you just have to made a registration to use library books.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes senior students and teachers are very helpful. There is also a student's union currently product by TMCP. The college staff are also very helpful. There is no ragging and all are very helpful and friendly.

Admission

1st of all you have to fill up from in college website, with your all details & 12th exam marks then they will publish merit list (4-5 merit list for each department) then they will mention some date to verify your original documents then you have to pay your admission fee through online. That's all you are ready to take calls regularly.

Faculty

2.5

Good not so bad. Mainly it's depends on you how you good at your study. There is no direct recoupment available. After education you have to participate several competitive exams for jobs. You can also complete masters degree from here on some limited subject.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
