About college

Every college have positive and negative points. The position thing about jec is it has very less fee and it is a premium institution of our country India. Jec is first college to introduce telecommunications engineering in India. Negative thing about this college is lack of faculty.

Course curriculum is same as RGPV syllabus. It has Choice basis grading system (CBGS). It is on the basis of cgpa system on the scale of 10.Exam is conducted by our college itself that's why our exam conducted on time and result also came on time.

To be honest placement is only here for CSE and IT student. Other branches core companies doesn't come here. Only mass Recuirter services based companies came here for placement. The average package is 3.5lpa. No jec doesn't provide any internship.

Last year we celebrated an event called MILAN. In this event our old alumines came to our college. Very enjoyable moment for us. Mr sudheer chaudhary sir CEO of DRDO Brahmos is alumni of our college. We know him because of this Event.

Fee is very feasible compared to other engineering college in India or in MP state. Yearly fee for general student is 21500 only. Other category student got scholarship that's why their fee is very less.

Almost every student got scholarship here. For poor student of general category there is a vikramaditya scholarship that's cover full fee of the college. And for OBC and SC ST student post metric scholarship is given by Government of MP.

Jec has great lab for mechanical and civil engineering student. For cs it has also a good lab. For sports jec is nodal centre of jabalpur region. There are basketball court, volleyball ground available in our college.

Jec hostel has been renovated now that's why it has became now very best place to spent 4 years of engineering life. Fee of hostel is very less around 1900 for one year. There are total 9 boys hostel and 1 girl hostel in the campus. Every hostel has own mess for food and water cooler for purified water.

Senior are very helpful here. Alumni network is also strong. Alumni always hell to upgrading this college. One of our alumni funded a auditorium called jashan. Senior and junior interaction is good here. If you need any help senior are always available.

At our time admission was done on the basis of rank secured in national level test called JEE Main. Register in dte mp online portal and do choice filling according to your jee main rank. After allotment go to college and take admission.

Being honest I would say Faculty are not good here. You have to do your studied by own if you want to be placed or prepared for other services exam. College has less permanent faculty in department like CSE, ECE and IT. We are rely on guest faculty who knows nothing.
