Remarks
It is very good university, previously it was blamed for its ragging and anti social activities but now no incident of ragging was there. So I am very happy for that. Now seniors are really helpful in our study
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam pattern is good. The Wbjee exam is for both Engineering and pharmacy. The subjects includes physics, chemistry and math. Pharmacy rank is based on marks of physics and chemistry where the engineering rank i.e. general merit rank is based on the marks of physics, chemistry and math.
Placement Experience
Our university i.e. Jadavpur university is known best or no. One university in West Bengal for its placements and job opportunities. I am not clear with the internship.So I can't say anything about the internship.
College Events
I am a fresher so, I don't know all the events. But what I know that the 1at event is for Freshers where the Freshers show thei talents and ability. The seniors and juniors meet each other and share their memories.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As jadavpur university is a government university the fee structure is very less, and it can be affordable by all class of students.this is the university where a student's 4yrs B.tech fees is less than 10000
Fees and Financial Aid
As the fee structure is very less, there is nothing like scholarship and loan facility.so I don't know anything about the loan facility or scholarship scheme. Though government give the students a annual scholarship.
Campus Life
Jadavpur university is known for its extracurricular activities. There is a good size playground inside the campus. Football, cricket, volley and many other games were played in the ground. Labs are well designed and well supplied
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted hostel, I hear from seniors that the infrastructure of hostels is not good. Hostel rooms are congested and not hygienic. So I decided to stay one of my school friends room which is at distance of 2km from university
Alumni/Alumna
The first thing I noticed that the seniors are very helpful they even call us if we need any help. They clear our doubts, so I am very thankful to my seniors.Thank you dada for your help. New palce we don't know anything but they help us directing the right pathway
Admission
I got admission through WBJEE conducted by WB board. After first round seat allotment, my documents were verified at midnapur i.e. one of its reporting center. Then after 3rd ronud result I reported in JU for admission.
Faculty
The faculty of JU is really helpful, they always try their best to help the students.they all are companionable with students. I remember during my admission how they help me. So we respect our facility members.
