My College Story

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

The year wise fees which i paid is 350000 for management admission as i have not got selected through kcet or comedk my kcet rank was low so i had no other option than joining through management. My batchmates fees is 130000 beacuse they joined through kcet and many from comedk.

Most of the student become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester however that training and placement workshops starts from 5th semester which includes training coding resume workshops mock interviews soft skill and communication session. Company is that visit the campus are TCS Wipro Accenture IBM Tech Mahindra L&T Technology. The campus receives around 100 offers every year. The highest packages 30 lpa. The placement percentage is 70%. After my degree I am planning to do higher studies.

Before joining my current college I had not applied to any colleges because I was trying to join to Kcet but still I had right to apply for New Horizon and Ramaiah which costed me it me more so I joined CMR. Yes I got rejected from kcet. The CMR which I choose because I compared placement campus life distance faculty fee structure and student reviews. Student friendly environment strong academic teaching approachable faculty growing number of recruiting companies. The admission criteria is 10 + 2 equal and with physics mathematics and one optional subject minimum 45 %. The cutoff is generally between 50000 for CSE branch.

The college maintenance a student faculty ratio of approximately 15 : 1. This ensures that every student gets academic attention. The relationship between student and faculty is generally positive and professional. The teachers are approachable and our willing to clarify dots after class and readily provide guidance for projects lab work and external competition. The faculty members I like the most are match department electronic department and computer science department the teachers are very energetic and interactive teaching style encourages students to participate in competition and explanations are clear. The faculties which I didn't like our mechanical work slightly difficult to follow due to Limited examples fast paced teaching. The course is spread across 4 years and 8 semester each semester has to internal exams each internal is for 50 marks the average of both internal is calculated then it is scaled down to 25. Then 10 marks assignment 10 marks project 5 marks quiz then there is a semester end examination for 100 marks then it is scaled down 50. The course curriculum is reasonable industry aligned.

The nightlife in CMR the campus itself becomes silent at night the surroundings of a comfortable and safe in ornament for students to unwind after classes. More students prefer hanging out in nearby cafes food joints parks and common student areas. Students relax and recharge in various ways short bike rides around the area watching movie series together late night conversations on the hostel terrace or corridor. This helped me build strong friendship improve my social confidence kept me mentally refreshed after academic made me feel part of a support you student community created memorable moments beyond classrooms and assignment.
