Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose B.Tech in Computer Science because I've always wanted to be in the tech field and work with emerging technologies. The currculum covers core subjects like DSA, DBMS, OS, and networking, which build a strong foundation. I apperciate the practicak exposure through labs and internships, but I feel the syllabu could include more trending topics like AI, ML, and cloud computing. Overall, the course is relevent and helps prepare for both industry roles and higher studies, but a few updates would make it even better.

Internships Opportunities

4

My university provides internship opportunities in fields like Python, DSA, full stack development, and data visualization. I personally completed an internship in Data Structures and Algorithms with Coding Blocks, which helped me strengthen my problem-solving skills and apply concepts in real projects. Overall, these opportunities help us gain confidence, improve technical skills, and prepare for placements.

Placement Experience

4

Campus placements begin from the 6th semester. The highest package offered so far is Rs. 40 LPA, and the average package is around Rs. 8 LPA. A few companies have visited, and the placement cell is still growing. Exact placement percentages have not been shared yet. I plan to focus on internships and skill-building during the course and aim to apply for tech roles after graduation, both on-campus and off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (2024-2028) under the General category. The fee structure is mostly stable without yearly hikes. In the first semester, I paid around Rs. 96,500 which included tuition, development, admission, exam, insurance, dress, festive, and transport charges. In the second semester, the total came to Rs. 74,400 with transport included. From the third semester onwards, I cancelled the transport included. From the third semester onwards, I cancelled the transport facility, so the fees reduced - Rs. 64,000 in the third semester and Rs. 57,000 in fourth semester. For the remaining semester 5th to 8th, based on the pattern they are expected to be around Rs. 60,000 each. Irecieved a 40% scholarship on tuition fees becouse of my 12th board marks 84.6%, which has been a bigh relief financially. I did not opt for hostel or mess facilities. Extra charges like insurance, fresher's party, intership fees, farewell, and festive fees are added ocassionally, but overall the tuition and development fees remain fixed. The total cost of the complete course is expected to be around Rs. 4,70,000.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is active and engaging. There are many student-run clubs like the literacy club, photography club, sports club, and more. Events like the annual sports meet and cultural fests bring great energy to the campus. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, and classrooms are equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. Sports facilities are decent, and students regularly participate in inter-college competitions. These activities help build friendships and make the overall experience enjoyable and balanced.

Admission

I chose this college because I wanted to build my career in the tech field and the CSE program here offered a practical curriculum with labs and internships. The admission process was simple and I recieved a 40% tution scholarship based on my 12th marks. Another reason was that the campus is close to my home, which made it convenient and affordable compared to other options.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio is balanced, and most teachers are approachable during and after class. Some faculty changes do happen, which can affect continuity. The course structure is industry-aligned with a mix of theory and practicals. Overall the academic system supports growth if you stay consistent.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, Ihad to go through an interview for admission. It was a bisic interaction where they asked about my interest in the tech field, my 12th board subjects, and why I chose Computer Science. The process was smooth and didn't involve any written test or group discussion. However, the university also conducts a scholarship exam called GUTS, which many students take to qualify for fee concessions. The interviewers were polite and mainly checked my communication skilld and clarity about my career goals. I didn't do any special preparation - just stayed confident and honest about my interest. The overall admission process was simple and based on board marks, and I received a 40% tuition scholarship for scoring 84.6%.

Night Life

4

Nightlife around the college is limited since it is located in Naultha village, Panipat. Inside the campus, it feels well safe with proper hostel rules and security, and students can spend time in the gym or cafe with friends. However, outside the campus the locality is not very safe at night, so most of students prefer to stay within campus facilities. Overall. the options are simple but safe inside, with limited hangout choices outside.

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placements from the 7th sem itself. The companies which some here are mostly unknown companies, except Flipkart, Airtel, Jindal and Reliance. The placement scenario is as follows: CS/IT : Very good placements, avg 4+, highest(from 2023) was 12LPA on campus. Printing/PKG/Food Tech : 100% Placement, in 2024, 10 students got placed with a package of 9.5 LPA. Core branches(Except ECE) : Decent placement, you have to be top employable in your batch to be placed. ECE : Not allowed to sit in software companies, no electronic company comes, worst placement, No need to talk about the package or percentages. You can just be placed in a sales role.
