Likes

DTU has the best student crowd in Delhi and therefore unlike DU our college has more of high end Delhi Crowd.
Fashion and modelling societies of our college has produced influencers in numbers.
Students can learn and earn at the same time as our college provides a lot more than what other colleges of Delhi can even dream of.

Course Curriculum Overview

BBA means case studies, competitions, building startups and learning entrepreneurship skills. Atleast at DTU this is how we are taught aa from marketing to PR, our course cover all aspects and BBA here thus is the best course in UG offered by DTU.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Nomura, Bain & Co and likewise many others have thrown intenrships challenges to DTU students. We had to compete with SRCC and other colleges students for the same as roles are less and students entry are high. DTU students though have managed to grab maximum intenrships seats in these big firms.

Placement Experience

DTU placements are as good as the so called top private universities of Indian. From JP Morgan Chase to Bain & Co all are invited during our placements sessions and they hire BBA students in mass numbers. 40-60k is what offered to BBA students at our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

DTU has a school for management graduates and that's USME where BBA is taught. The fees for the same is 1.12 lakhs and since private university even though controlled by Delhi Government scholarships aren't as high as DU. Merit based scholarships are more than the caste based scholarships in our college.

Campus Life

Engine fest is the main fest of DTU but case competitions and debates and quizzes keeps us busy every semester. In three semesters I have seen over 10 events being hosted by DTU. College itself is an event and our infrastructure since it's a relatively newer campus is more advanced than many in terms of overall facilities available.

Admission

I applied at some of the private universities outside Delhi like the Christ and Kristu Jayanti in Bengaluru and Symbiosis Pune. I gave those entrances and was qualified but through management quota. Our DTU which is in Delhi itself charges one fourth of what they charge for the same course and hence I joined DTU.

Faculty

Bonding with DTU faculties is the easiest thing u can do. They are super powerful creature but show all their creativity only in teaching as besides that they mind their own buisness and they advise us the same too. Apart from one I like all my faculties and the one that I don't like is definitely Miss Rachna Pandita.

Night Life

Our college has gym and cafeterias and in Delhi of one wants to see the best cafe then Hauz Khaas and Khan Markets are for them. For evening walk and street shopping CP is the one and there are endless historical monuments in Delhi to hang out at.

The opportunites in the campus .

Likes

I liked my College faculty especially my course faculty that is they are so helpful both in academics and your life decisions and they provide a personal mentoring for your every question about the career and future goals .
Our college environment is also good as our college infrastructure is not that big but the overall zones like lawn area , canteen , playground , library , washrooms are always clean , and the departmental area they are the good ones .
I like my college societies so much , as a part of music society in my college it is so helpful for me to end my full day stress by spending time in the society , our college Annual fests are also the best one among most of the reputed colleges .

Dislikes

I dont like the infrastructure of our college that much because it is not perfect as per my observations , there are many things to be enhanced ,
Placements of our college is not enough as per our expectations .
Student leaders or activist who becomes aa voice of the students are not honest and helpful.

Placement Experience:

Placements from my college is not as i expected but they provide good internships opportunity according to your skills and The average placement package of my college is 6 lakh and highest one is 12 lakh , my plan is to persue MBA after completing my graduation .

Great Internships

Likes

I would say I liked the classes like they have a lot of space
The college is fully AIR - CONDITIONED which is very nice
Has 3 canteen that has good food and place to sit while eating

Dislikes

Does not have a proper ground for playing

All the things which are in my curriculum are relevent and comprehensive as the college give us the topics that are going to come in our exams which really helps kepping the load down from the students as they might not study if the syllabus is more and more

Likes

the faculty members are supportive, knowledgeable, and explain concepts clearly. they are approachable and helpful during exams and projects.
the campus is clean and well maintained with good classrooms, labs and library
the college organises seminars, workshops, cultural events and internships

Dislikes

placement opportunities are available but the number of high paying companies could be improved
the quality of food from the canteen can be improved
administrative processes can sometime take longer than expected

The BBA curriculum at TIPS Dwarka is relevant and covers important management subjects like marketing , HRM , finance , international business. the curriculum prepares students for higher studies as well as entry level corporate roles.

Infrastructure is good. DBIT is bigger than many IPU colleges
It conducts annual cultural and sports events. the engagement if very good.
Faculties are nice. And upper management is very good

Dislikes

biasness from certain teachers are there.
very strict environment. College students are treated as school students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members are qualified and have a good teaching style. All of them makes their own power-point presentations to teach topic. Areas of improvement - please give a little freedom to the college students. They have very strict timings and they conduct Parent -teacher interaction ( PTI) ?? after every semester.

Gives you kind of exposure which everyone needs.
Opens a lot of opportunities for students and helps them to grow.
Faculty is something which is the best thing about college as all the teachers and support staff are very supportive and experienced and they help students in getting that industry knowledge.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike that infrastructure is not developed and there are lot of faults .

Placement Experience:

The students in our college start looking for internships active from semester 1 but they are allowed to sit for placements after 2nd year. Mnay big companies come in our college for placements and many offers are made highest was 16 lakhs this year from BMS and average package is around 5-8 lakhs pa. Likes

Societies are active, there is a lot of scope for extra curricular activities in college
The faculty is helpful in terms of academics.
Fellow students are engaging and willing to guide you.

Dislikes

Administration doesn’t follow through with plans
Classrooms and canteen have obsolete seating.
Placements could be better although they’re alright.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
