- The overall campus (well maintained,clean, availability of basic facilities,gym, shopping complex, open air theatre,2 stadiums, indoor court ,large no of hostels,free bus service, good classrooms)
- Seminars or lectures by skilled professors,less academic stress,quality education,24×7 reading/study room,Main and department libraries, canteen and tea time facilities, good mentorship

Dislikes
- Need improvement in academics,last time rush to finish syllabus, Marking system , limited study resources
- Same and average mess food ,some hostels are old and need maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview
Pondicherry University has good sociology department and well trained professors.That ' s why I choose this.The curriculum contains major sociological concepts and theories and areas like rural and urban sociology, gender sociology,youth sociology and social on.The teaching methods should be improved.The exam schedule is tight.I write two semester exams in a day.The questions are not too hard but don't gets marks.

Campus Life
The annual and technical festivals are limited.The students usually organise and celebrates festivals themselves.The accessibility of library books is good.Not all classrooms are digital.Clubs like nss and other students associations are there.Good facilities and practices for sports.
Hostel Facilities
I stay in the college hostel itself. It is newly built and much better when compared to other hostels in the university. The hostel rooms are well arranged and comfortable. Each room has a bed frame, a cupboard, a table, a chair, and charging ports. The rooms are neat and have enough space for daily use. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. Safe drinking water is provided through a water purifier. Lift facility is also available, which is very helpful. Overall cleanliness of the hostel is good and hygienic. The quality of food is medium. Chicken and egg are served twice a week. Regular South Indian food is provided for meals. Rasam, pappad, pickle, and curd are available every day. For breakfast, dosa, idli, poori, and bread are given. Chapathi is served for both lunch and dinner. After completing the admission process, we can apply for hostel stay. We need to fill out a form and make the payment. After that, the hostel staff allots the room. Different room options are available such as dormitory, three share rooms, and two share rooms. Overall, the hostel provides good facilities and a comfortable living environment.
Admission
Firstly I got admission to sacred heart college,Thevara, kerala.I studied one month there.Then I got admission in Pondicherry University,so I went to pondicherry for more exposure and opportunities.I also applied to university of hyderabad for alternative domain,but rejected.Cuet ug is the eligibility test for central universities like pondicherry. Admission process is quiet simple and smooth.They will publish rank list,then verification process and fee payment.
Faculty
The faculty - student relationship is not at all bad.It is also depends on the nature and behaviour of faculty and student.professors are approachable,but busy also.For 1st year ug students phd scholars will be taking class.They are friendly and helpful.There are minimum two internal exams.It is medium - hard range.It is easy then we study and follow the instructions of tutors.The no of students who gets supply is less.The course curriculum has good standard and quality.
Night Life
The light life in Pondicherry University is excellent.We should enter the campus before 11:00pm and write in hostel register.But we can hang inside the campus anytime,no time limits or restrictions.The teatime is open till 12:00pm.The gym and library is available till evening (around 4-5pm).The locality is safe ,but also be careful.There are so many hidden places,park,grounds to hangout.It is great pleasure and add nice memories to our campus life.we are our masters.
