Course Curriculum Overview
Girls are not high in management studies and since it's an age of women entrepreneurship, I have opted this and I am happy that I will be finishing my course soon with flying colours. Areas of improvement would be to held some business conclaves in our university where women entrepreneurs of our country are invited and that will really equal the male and female ration in our university.
Internships Opportunities
Nearly 50 marketing companies of FMCG sector like the Dabur, Nestle ane Patanjali have mostly offered intenrships to BBA students. The on and average stipend offered was around 15000 and nearly half of my batch was able to get intenrships from University.
Placement Experience
At DTU students are placed much before the course end as I am still in my last semester and I already have been placed. Likewise around 100 our of 180 students are placed in 50+ giant organisations which have been a part of our placement since 2017.
Fees and Financial Aid
Delhi Technological University has an East Campus too and that is where our USME college is located. It's in Vasant Vihar and our university fees is not that big. It's just 1.16 lakhs a year and since I am done with my course, I have mentioned the average fees as our fees kept on increasing by 10 thousand every year.
Campus Life
Our university mostly organized competition and case studies and in the name of events we had few DJ Nights and a Garba Night. Our university fest Engie is still hosted at the main campus as nearly 8-10k students attend that. Our university campus has all the academic facilities but sports facilities are quite slim.
Admission
I gave way many entrances to be honest like SNAP, Christ University Entrance, also for UPES and TAPMI as well. DTU as it was in Delhi and the kind of opportunities available in Delhi are certainly more than anyone. Thus, I opted for DTU while I had confirmed admission in most of the universities which I have mentioned above.
Faculty
BBA faculties of USME are not just talented but if I talk about just one of our professor Mr Anirdih Nathwani, he is an IIM passed out and did his PhD from Harvard. Then he has served as a professor in a few international universities and then has come to DTU. This is one story and likewise all our professors have a similar backstory.
Night Life
Vasant Vihar Phase 2 is purely a place where nearly 200k people reside, so we don't have much in the name of night life. Yet we have one of the best pub the Hard Rock Cafe close to our university and that is one place we go if we have long classes as otherwise we all leave the campus in noon itself.
