Course Curriculum Overview

3

The courses offered are changing every year or sem due to change in regulation... Even though for the paper it's good we still learn some outdated technologies in the lab along(not all) We have a student exchange programs so u can even learn from other top universities from Singapore and many other countries who have signed a MOU with our college We have exams almost every month along with a few group presentations Total 4 internal exams for theory subjects along with 2 assignment and group presentation and for integrated course u have 2 internal exams. For lab just a mock lab exam before the end semester lab

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is 1,35,000 inr for ppl coming coming from counselling but for mgmt ppl its 1,85,000 inr Book fees is 25k and CDC is 25k Scholarships are available for 1st graduation students or if come from a low financial background or ur siblings are studying in the SRM group

Campus Life

4

You have variety of fests and event. Swagat for freshers and the college culturals are the major event in the college... U also have other fun fest tht happen in college and on top of that you have several symposiums and competitions taking place every year

Admission

The college was nearby and had a good reputation. Only got rejected in IIT or didn't get my fav branch in other top universities so chose this. Admission process depends on TNEA counselling and no entrance exam required

Faculty

3

There is a diverse array of faculties... Some are good and know how to teach and are very supportive while few others act like scl teachers and are pretty strict but not teaching properly and another spectrum bad in both but overall all the teachers are pretty much supportive and will definitely help u if u need something There are 3 types of course structure 1) theory 2) lab 3) integrated (theory + lab) The courses offered in a semester keeps on changing every year or sem as per the changing regulations Exams are pretty easy as u have sufficient material to prepare for exams and you know what questions can come but in end semester examinations the corrections can be strict so getting 9 cgpa abv is a bit of a challenge even for good students On average u see ppl in 7-8.5 cgpa alot

Interview Experience

5

U will face such interview later in 3rd year and no written test for admission... Purely TNEA counselling results since it's a autonomous institution under anna university. Tho you might get some practice later in the 2nd year but am not sure of that

Night Life

4

Nightlife inside clg u won't find anything fun apart from canteens but outside the clg u have several gaming cafe and cafe for food and games and gym and other infrastructure in college hostels are present for workouts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
