Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is revised regurarly as many my seniors course was totally different from what we have now but saying that there are still some random unwanted labs and subjects such as chem and phy but again mostly in first year only. Exams are not that difficult in general and as marks disturibution is speard along exams and other practical work it makes scoring easy.

Placement Experience

3

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements There are many top companies such as texas instrument(last visit in 2023), sony , toshiba , mercedes benz(only girls), and many good startups and top mnc come but reality is they offer jobs but for just few handfull of people most end up in mass recriuters. The placement from my senior batch of ECE has got package upto 24-26lpa but average is around 7-8lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees via comedk is around 12lakh for 4years excluding hostel and mess fees which will addtionally cost around 1lakh per year. 281000 is tution fee and rest is activites fees. There are also pgs and hostel avaiable outside the campus also rate may differ from one another.

Campus Life

5

This is the only best thing about college it has top-class infrastructure with nice classroom and reading spaces but classrooms can still be improved and made more efficient. Huge library but has old chairs and table with dust and dirt on them that never gets cleaned unless said with nice study area and college has many open sitting area as well....where you either study or hangout with friends or spend your evenings over there Has best sports infrastructure and organizes regular sports compitation There are approx 10 different clubs ranging between technical and non techical

Admission

Comedk , kcet and management quota are the options to take admissions here. One of the best thing or the deciding factor for me was not so strict attendence policy they have a on paper of 85percent but allows till 75 but even if u have a lesser then 75percent they will excuze u if you are academically good or you have to face some complications...but one of the faculty mentioned that they have never seen someone not sitting for exams just because of lower attendence. So this played a crucial role for me choosing this college.

Faculty

4

Faculties are very encouraging yes there are some faculties who act rude but very few, most are friendly and will go one step ahead to help you if your honest with them and there are total of 3 exams in a sem 2 in semester exam and 1 end semester exams along with assigments, projects and other submissions. This structuring of exam reduces the load on end semester exams which indeed help the student to score better.

Night Life

4

The best hangout spots are our canteen called HUB its is a very large multifood chain place excpet that we have multiple hangout spots depending of the number of friends. We have 2 gyms for boys and 1 for girls with there respective gym trainers. Hostel timing is till 7 for girls and till 8 for boys and campus is open always but u need to carry id card for it and id card in campus is compalsory.

Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.
