Course Curriculum Overview

The rising of technology in computers and Ai so thats is why i choosed computer science and engineering .The curriculum prepares me very well for real world applications or further academic pursuits.They should focus more on Coding less on maths.The exams are on very good timing which is after about every 2 units and difficulty is not easy but moderate

So i am in second semester and i havent applied for any internship and i have not recived and internship.But the company that offers internship here are both paid and non paid internship such as:-IBM,TCS

According to the data give by Lovely professional university and the posters which appers in the campus the average package of Computer science and engineering is 8 lakhs and highest was 3 cr. So the placement is good only for those who study

Fees and Financial Aid

So My tution fees is 140000 and i received a scholarship based on lpunest i scored 200 out of 400 cant remember properly and i got scholarship lf 40% so i pay 84000 per semester which is 168000 yearly and this scholarship is permanent until and unless you do some rules breakes of indiscipline

Campus Life

The campus life is very good in here .Because it is the largest private campus in india.It have many thing to explore many clubs to join and there are many fest organised by the university for us.many hackathons and good infrastructure for sports

Hostel Facilities

So i have a double seater Ac room i got a connected bathroom in which both shower area and toilet area is divided which is very good thing.Ac which is for both seasons.And almirah.i you choose mess the meal quality depends day to day somedays very good and someday worst.You can easily register for 1st semester on the website

Admission

So i was preparing for iit and i was not able to clear the jee mains and advance.That is why i choosed Lovely professional university.To take addmission in lovely professional university you need to clear there lpunest or you should have a decent percentage in boards

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is really good like 50:1. And if you ask them a doubt they will surely clear them The best faculty according to me is Dr.Kaundal which teaches me physics last semester.My wrost experience is with DrNarinder singh because i did'nt understood anything is his classThere are 2 class test of every subjest then midterm and then endterm on an average out of 70 in class 10 to 15 failed to clear atleast one subject

Night Life

The nightlife inside the campus is very good.The girls are allowed to go out till 8 pm and after they aplly campus leaves then 12 am.The boys are allowed anytime out of hostel but not out of campus library closes at 12 am.i am in Boys hostel 8 and very best hostel of lpu.Outside is not that safe for both girls and boys after 10Pm. Hangout place near is Jalandhat and eastwood village

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
