Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think the curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive. The course teaches fundamental concepts along with practical applications. Some course also include practicals application to prepare students for the real world. There are also industry experts that come to teach some subjects and prepare for placements. In areas of improvements there can be more project-based learning to make it more effective. The timing and difficulty of exams are both fine and midsems happens after half of the curriculum is completed.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college provide good internship opportunites for students, especially from 3rd semester. There are mandatory summer trainings for it taught by indstry experts and outside faculties. Students can also avail many academic benefits if they are doing any internships. Sometimes they can also exempt exams and entire semesters based on their on job performance. There also extensive projects for final and prefinal year students which help them gain required skills and experience for placements.

Placement Experience

3

The placement opportunities provided are moderate in compariosan to other colleges and they are failry good in comaprison to the private unis. Most of the students based on their academics and skills become eligible for placements in their 5th semester. Both MNCs and startups visit the college and the average package ranges form 8-10 lpa and highest package can touch crores. The percentage of student getting placed is aslo good though i dont lnow the exact statistics. My plan is to go for placements during and after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tution fees is around 140000 but i got 28% scholarship on based of lpunest so it is now 100800. It varies depending upon what scholarship category you got also various scholarship for army, sportpersons etc are also available.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is one area where my uni speacially excels at. The campus is quite big and extensive and there are many clubs both academic and non academic catering to every group of people. The One India fest is speacially famous and celebrated. There are different types of classes based on needs including normal classes, lecture halls, labs of variuos kinds ects and each one of them is equiped with projectors, ACs, speakers and boards. Sports and extracurricular activities are promoted very much and have very good infrastrucuture for them. There are many student run organisations and clubs for every group of people.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college facilities provided by college are fine. They offer every kind of room from 8 seater to one seater both ac and non ac. Also there apartments with extra facilities for students who want them. The rgistration process is very easy and they are affordable. If someone dont want hostels there are a large variety of pgs and apartment available for students outside the campus.

Admission

I choe this college becasue of its academic, placement reputation and extensive campus and academic and non academic opportunities. It provided a good learning oppportunity at reasonable cost. The admission process was fairly easy. All the document verification and submission after exam happened online and without any issue.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are genrally knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields. Though there is a lot of corwd the ratio bwtween the faculty member and student is good. Also most faculty members are approachable, supportive and friendly. Till now all faculty members have been really supportive and they explained their topics clearly and with practicals means too. I also agree that there have been some faculty members whose teaching methods were a bit traditional and theory focused but overall they were greatly knowledgeable and engaging. There are usual midems and endsems for theory subjects and only end term practicals for practical subjects. Mostly students are able to pass the exams and even if they failed or get less marks they are allowed to reappear for most of the exams. I think the course is mostly relevant to the curriculum.

Night Life

5

The nighlife inside college is really good, there are many food courts offering all kinds of cuisines and fast foods. There are several gyms, cafeterias along with a mall which has all kind of shops for students. I especially like the library it has many books and spaces to offer for both private and group studies. The male students can walk in the universty anytime they like but for female students it is limited to 11:00 pm. There are are many hangout spaces both indoors and outdoors for students and safety is very good inside the campus and to ensure that there are many bith male and female guards and personnels.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
