Internships at LPU

I want to become a Software engineer and I am also getting government college but I choosed LPU because of good coding culture. My school senior is also placed at google so she also suggested me to take admission. LPU focuses on practical learning and course is also related to current market trends. The course can be improved by adding some new technologies like using AI and all. Exams are conducted 2 times in a semister which is quite moderate.

Many companies offer internship opportunities for students during 3rd and 4th year of college. Some companies like Capgemini, TCS, Philips, Infosys offers internship upto 25000 to 50000 per month. There is also capstone project in 4th year which is compulsory for all students to improve their skills.

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

The yearly fee structure for B. Tech CSE is 280000 but LPU offers scholarship based on LPUNEST upto 60%. The fee is now increasing by 10000 approx. I also got 50% scholarship so my fees is 140000 per year.

There are many big cultural events like One India and Spectra held in October and January. The central library in LPU is very big and all books are available there which you can issue easily. Each classroom are having projector for easy learning. There are also computer labs available. LPU offers various benefits for sports and extracurricular activities and also provide scholarship to sports students who are performing good. There are many clubs which are running by students themselves and a student can also open their own club.

There are all options available for hostel like AC and Non AC according to students need. Food depends on hostel but generally food is good. You can register during admission process to apply for hostel and mess. Many PG's are also available near LPU in Green valley, law gate. But hostel is preferred over PG.

I have applied for MITS Gwalior but when I have searched about that college I got to know that there is no coding culture and mainly focuses on theory so I have not applied for it. So that's why I have choosed LPU over MITS Gwalior. I have got AI ML in MITS but I want CSE so that's one reason. Admission process is smooth and easy just give LPUNEST exam and get scholarship.

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 : 70. In a class there are 70 students (approx) in B. Tech CSE but in specialization there are less students. Faculties are good and helping to students. Students can easily approach teachers in their cabin. I cannot take the name but the teacher who taught me CSE121 is very cool and motivating teacher. Teacher who taught me physics is not good as he was always angry. There are CA's frequently but main exams are mid term and end term. Exams are not much difficult. Course is very relevant because it is much focused on coding (practical learning).

LPU have many food courts on campus which are amazing. Food courts have variety of food available. Also there are 3 Gyms available in campus. For students campus in timing is 7 PM and there is no in timing for boys hostel but for girls is 7 PM but they can apply for leave and go for a study to library. Inside college there is unimall, CC food court and unipolis which is good for enjoying and outside campus Eastwood is very amazing place to hangout with friends.
