Likes

Faculty is more interactive. Each mentor will be given students to guide throughout.
We have activities, clubs, and co-curricular activities.
Regular hackathons and technical activities will be conducted to increase the technical knowledge of the students.

Dislikes

Better training can be provided for all branches
Hostel food can be improved with reference to taste
Scholarships must be given to all irrespectve of their gender

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science feild is the field which keeps booming from day to day. This increased my interest to join the field of CSE. College also provides us with other degrees such as honors and minors degree where we can simultaneously complete both the courses.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students are supposed to do internships only at VTU affiliated companies. Placement cell also brings companies related to vtu affiliated companies for internship. If students don't get any internships then VTU provides us with Skill enhancement courses where it can be done online.

Placement Experience

From the 6th sem ending we started attending our placement drives. Big companies such as TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Zoho, TechMahendra, Wipro, Capgemini recruits students from our college. Students can attend all the drives which visits our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 1,70,000 per year including my van fees. Fees will be reduced if your a CET student with better rank. Tution fees will be around 20,000.COMEDK fees will be around 1.8lakhs, CET fees 1,00,000 and Management fees will be 1,80,000. College provides us with scholarships such as LMS for students with better grades. Government provides SSP scholarship for CET students.

Campus Life

Peaceful place with peaceful campus. The campus is huge wih canteen, cafeteria, hostel, lab, innovation center facilities. Each department has different labs. We have a huge library where we get physical as well as ebooks. Library also provides with accessing IEEE papers.

Admission

Since this college is near to my home and also provides with bus facilities I joined this college. In this college I could improve my skills and also participate in various activities such as hackathon and international conferences. I could publish my paper in journals.

Faculty

Students are allocated mentors where if they face any grieviences thy can talk to their mentors. We have 2 internal assignments with 50 marks each. External exam will be conducted for 100 marks. College conducts practical exams.

Night Life

There is huge playground where we can play various games. Library shuts down at 5pm at evening. Cafeteria shuts down at 6pm. College starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. The timings extend till 5 if there are exams.

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Dislikes

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Review by first bencher who enjoyed life with back benchers

Likes

The Well maintained Infrastructure of around 20 acres
The support for non academic activities like sports and cultural
Supportive nature of few faculties for tech competitions both for participating as well as for organising

Dislikes

There is no much needed coordination among faculties
The student teacher bonds are not good for all faculties
Some over helmed rules regarding discipline and cleanliness

Placement Experience:

Well in case of placements it's not upto the mark because, As it's a Government college for companies there will be a zero promotion. One more thing is there is no separate funds to accommodate the officials came to the college for placements And the college is not working with 100% efficiency towards placements of students

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

A good college life

Likes

The Campus is student friendly and interactive
Students engage with each other and help each other in academics
Faculty here is very good and they are expert in their fields and interact with students

Dislikes

As such I don't have anything that I dislike
Campus is bit small but it looks good and great
Overall campus is good with basketball court and football ground

Placement Experience:

• Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester itself • Companies like TCS, WIPRO , INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, HCL , IBM , AMAZON etc do visit college every year and a good amount of 80 to 90 offers are made per year • Highest package offered here is 13 lpa and the average lpa is around 5 to 6 lpa • Almost every student gets placed here with a good lpa • My plan is to get a good job from here and secondly preparing for higher studies

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Good college for every students

Actually, I was having some idea about electronic communication engineering and I got a seat also in that particular domain and the course is interesting also and the college will provide you with a special mentor who guides you and leads you further without any problems that are faced by you and you can share whatever problems you are facing and all the faculties are highly graduated and some teachers are done Ph.D. the teaching methods are excellent. If we see at the fee structure the fee is very high only but the government is affording the scholarship for every student the students should take care of it and should apply to get it to make use of it sometimes the college provides internships and extra activities that should be done.
