Placement Cell Sucks

As a management student, I liked that the college's patedogogy allows students to not only study but also get the experience of the market in which the student has to jump just after their college life. This improved my confidance very much.

The internship opportunity which was brought to us by placement team was were not the good enough, opposite to what a student expects. The students didn't go of the internship opportunities which were brought by thr placement team, instead they searched the market and fing better opportunity for themselves.

The only thing which attracts any student towards any college is its placemets. And in our college the placement cell is divided for Design students and for Enginering and Management students. The Placement cell of Design department work very well, they really brings good companies and the students get placed even with high package, and the average package would be around 6 LPA. Where as the placement cell for Management as well as Engineering is not doing the work which a student expect for. The average package for Engineering student is around 5-6 LPA and average package for managemet student is even bad which is around 4-5 LPA.

There are fee structure for different demartments which are (Managemenet, Law, Engineering and Design), I was the student of Management and so my yearly fees was 2.5 lacks. Our collage also provide some schollarships but that too are limited. There is also scholarship which is based on the yearly acadmics score. Usually students try to avail the benefit of this scholarship.

Overall campus life was good, get to work with different cultured students. It was a nice experience. There are more of Maharastrian students who came from different regin of maharastra, so the college used to celebrate all the traditional maharastrian festivals.

The admission process in my case was very smooth. The college asked for the marks of previous education and asks for the results of any competitive exam, like JEE, CAT, MAT, etc. And then they took my MCQ based examination so that with its scoring they can give me some percentage of fee benifite and then they took my Personal interview, where they asked why do I want to join that college and in which field I would I like to specialize and why. And this is how I got the admission.

The faculty of college are highly knowledgable and deliver concepts in an effective and engaging manner. There are lots of courses available in our college and they BBA, BCA, B Des, B Tech (Computer Science only), LLB, MBA, MCA, M Des. There is a different patadology apply here which is know as Block Chain Patter. Here students are first trained for 1 or 2 subject daily for 1 month, in this duration student has to submit their assigned assignments and then after 1 month student has to give final exam of that perticular subject. And then that subject won't be touched again, for university that subject has been marked as completed. So there is no perticular final exam month, but student has to give 1-2 subject final exam every month. And at last of the semester college invites jury member to test the students and ask them what they has learned in that semester. The students has to prepare the presentation and answers all the questions to the jury. It is basically an External Viva where students has to prepare the presentation and tell about every subjects at once. The marking system is basically on Assignments, Written Exam and Jury. Per subject has 2-3 assignments which has very less weightage around 20% and then written exam which has around 30% weightage and then Jury which has highest weightage of 50%. During my final year, Professor Rakeshkum Sen provided exceptional support and gave individual attention to every studnet. He guided me in identifying my career path, and with his mentorship, I secured a postion as a Business Analyst in a gaming company. I will always remain grateful for his guidance and support.

The college is situated very far away from the main city, so at night there are only hostel students and faculty in the campus. As I was a day schollar I never experienced the nightlife of the campus.
