Course Curriculum Overview

5

I feel the course curriculum is relevant because it focuses on skills that are useful in today's tech industry. Along with the core subjects, we also get enough coding practice, assignments and projects to apply what we learn. The subjects are introduced in a proper sequence, so each semester builds on the previous one. Overall the curriculum feels complete, easy to follow and helps students prepare for both internships and future placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The regular tuition fee for the BTech program is around 4lakh per year, which is about 16lakh for four years. There's also a one time registration fee of 1200 during admission. The good thing is that the final amount depends on your NAT scholarship. If you score well in NAT exam, you can get a scholarship that reduces your tuition fees. That's why most students take NAT seriously because it can save s good amount over the four years. I found the fee and scholarship process easy to understand because everything was explained clearly

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with campus life has been really positive. It wasn't difficult to make friends because everyone is friendly and supportive. I enjoy taking part in club activities and workshops as they give me a chance to learn something new and interact with students from different batches. The infrastructure is well maintained with modern classrooms, computer labs, good wifi and all the basic facilities a student needs. Overall the campud has a welcoming atmosphere that makes college life enjoyable as well as productive

Admission

When I was comparing colleges, I wasn't just looking at rankings or brochures. I wanted a place where I could actually learn useful skills and prepare for my career. NIAT stood out because of its practical approach to learning, focus on coding and projects and the opportunities for internships. The NAT scholarship was another big plus as it made the course more affordable. After comparing a few colleges, this option felt like the best fit for my goals

Faculty

5

One thing I have noticed is that the faculty genuinely wants students to improve. They don't just teach what's in the syllabus, they also guide us on projects, encourage us to explore new topics, and share useful advice whenever we need it. They are approachable, so asking doubts never feels uncomfortable. I also like that they motivate us to think independently instead of simply giving answers. Overall the faculty created a friendly environment where it's easy to stay curious and keep growing

Night Life

5

The most famous hangout spot in definitely the cafeteria. It's where we usually meet after classes and spend time with friends. The library is another common spot, especially for group study sessions or project discussion. The area around the campus is also quite student friendly. There are cafes, small eateries and convenience stores nearby, so it's easy to step out with friends. From my experience the locality feels safe to work during the day and even in the evening especially around the areas that students frequently use

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
