Course Curriculum Overview
I chose PGDM because of its industry focused curriculum and practical learning approach. The course includes live projects, internships, IRE, BMP and CPMP which prepare students for corporate careers Exams are conducted regularly and are moderate
Internships Opportunities
Currently I am doing my internship as a Real estate market analyst at Pathfinder Value Creations Pvt Ltd.with stipend of 10000 each month. During my internship, I did research on Bengaluru real estate market, have done few site visits etc
Placement Experience
After completing 4th trimester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Flipkart, Mahindra Finance, Axis Bank, Nykaa, OYO, TCS etc come for placements. The highest package offered for the BATCH 2024-26 was 20 LPA and average package is 8.2 LPA. Almost 90-95 % of the total students are getting placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for our batch is Rs 9,50,000 excluding examination fees. Tution fees is 900000 and registration fees is 50000 excluding examination fees. All other fees are included in the tution fees only
Campus Life
Annual Fests- Saviskara, Enchainer, TEDx, SOTY, IRE conference and many more. Or library is fully packed with books and journals. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, wifi and comfortable seating creating a good learning environment The college encourage to participate in different sports, cultural activities, management fests, workshops and competition. There are various students clubs, laedership activities and social initiatives helping students to improve teamwork, networking and overall personal developments.
Admission
I had applied to other few business schools and received admission offers , but I chose GIBS because of its strong focus on practical learning, industry exposure and value added programs. I didn't face any rejection during the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio at GIBS is good, allowing students to interact closely with their mentors. The faculty members are approachable, supportive and always willing to clarify doubts. I especially liked the professors because of their industry experience and practical teaching style. I didn't have any negative experience with my professors. There are total 6 trimesters with 4 exams in each CE1, CE2, CE3 and CE4.
Interview Experience
They will ask questions based on the curriculum and student interests. The admission process includes submitting academic records, entrance exams scores and attending a personal interview. I prepared by revising management basics, improving my communication skills, and staying updated with current affairs. The overall admission experiences was smooth and well organized
Night Life
The campus has a library, gym, cafeteria and smart class rooms, Hostel and campus entry timings are followed for students safety. Students specially spend time in cafeteria or cafes nearby. This area is generally safe and well connected.
