Likes

The main aspect which attracted me most is the quality of education provided here is the best, the faculty focuses on the core aspects of the industry and guides the students for the same. The BMP and IRE are 2 different important aspects of PGDM .
The engagement and social life are very effective and most importantly they provide with complete exposure beyond text knowledge, essential for a college and especially a PGDM student whose gaining industrial experience
The placement services, support services and learning facilities are well updated and up to the today industry requirements. The mentors make sure the students only receive only skills required important for todays market.

Course Curriculum Overview

The overall PGDM course is significantly well-structured and includes a good balance of theortical concepts and practical learning. One of the several reasons I chose GIBS Business School was its industry-oriented curriculum, which emphazies case studies, live projects, internships and skills development alongside core management subjects.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 950000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for 2 Year PGDM fees is 9.5 lakh. The hostel fee is seperate 1,32,0000 for one year. Their is expection for categories. Everyone is charged the same amount. Their are various scholarships available based on your CAT,MAT, CMAT Score.

Campus Life

Campus life at GIBS is vibrant with active clubs, smart classrooms, a well-stocked library, aports, clutural fests such SAVISKARA, ENCHAINER and TedX, and more. it offers a great balance of academics, learning and extracurrilar activities.

Admission

I chose GIBS Business School because of its industry-oriented curriculum, strong placement support, internship opportunties and focus on overall personality development. Candidates with a bachelor's degtree are elegible and institute accepts scores from exams like CAT,MAT,CMAT,XAT,ATMA,KMAT and GMAT.

Faculty

Theie is atleast 2 faculty for 1 student, the faculty are well updated, professional and highly knowldegeable in their departments and have their own expertise. There are external exams at the end every trimester and they also take mid-term exams along with assignments between the trimesters.

Night Life

There is a gym and a ampitherate available for common use. The hostel timings are till 9pm. Popular nearby hangout spots include cafes in Electronic City, Akshaynagar and HSR. The area is generally safe during the evening, making campus life more comfortable.

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent, with students becoming eligible from the 5th semester with PPO's. Companies like Nykaa, ITC, L&T, Axis Bank, TCS, Bosch etc visit the campus. Highest package is 20 LPA, average 8.2 LPA with 100% placements

Likes

I like the faculty members of GIBS. They are very supportive
I liked the IRE, BMP and CPMP program. It is totally industry focused programs
I loved placement department of my college

Placement Experience:

After completing 4th trimester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Flipkart, Mahindra Finance, Axis Bank, Nykaa, OYO, TCS etc come for placements. The highest package offered for the BATCH 2024-26 was 20 LPA and average package is 8.2 LPA. Almost 90-95 % of the total students are getting placed every year.

A great learning experience in GIBS business school

Likes

There Is CPMP sessions which help me build my skills
IRE session are there which encourages students for startup idead
BMP is also great platform for the practical impliment of how to run business

Dislikes

Bangalore Traffic takes time to reach there
collage timings are not same all the days due to some events after class time
Everything like classes and events everything goes simultanously

Placement Experience:

from 5th trimister students are elegible for the campus placements and the average package is 8.5LPA and minimum is 6.5LPA and the highest package is 20LPA companies that visit campus for recruitment are nykaa, mahendra finance , wildcraft etc mostly 100% of the students are gettig placed

Great blend of academics and real industry exposure.

Likes

Faculty is genuinely supportive and always ready to clear doubts, even outside class hours.
Programs like CPMP, IRE, and BMP add real practical value beyond regular textbook learnings.
Campus life is lively with fests, guest sessions and clubs, making it easy to stay engaged.

Dislikes

As a dayscholar, commute during peak traffic hours in Bangalore can get a bit tiring at times.

Placement Experience:

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

My Campus Life.

Likes

It is very simple to find out collages . Thier website is very easy to use.
The campus life was very good i had done fun while i was in campus i have done many social interaction in campus i have done social work, fun and many otherthing.
The Excellent Faculity's Expertise. Teaching Method was very good and I get excellent mentorship quality.

Dislikes

I dont like the leave process of the university
and i dont like thier charging for low atteendence

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

Likes

I like the way of teachers teaching the subject
I like the infrastructure in my college and it will be so peaceful for reading the exams reading subjects
I like my academics and extra curriculum activities in my college

Dislikes

I didn't like the management because they have extra amount for revaluation exams
I dislike my college because they didn't organise any facts because they organise it we early once
I didn't like the classes it's felt like kindergarten

Adakara prepare for a real word applications is very interesting because they have shown some industrial drips like that and take our classes to some industry is two think of real world how in real world the problems will like that there organising some events workshops or knowledge

B-School of great choice in Bangalore

Likes

The college is usually focused on creating a transformative experience for the students. The students here get exposed to practical knowledge more than just theoretical knowledge in classes.
All the subjects include projects which is mandatory which makes the students to get real time experiences outside the college by meeting people outside college.
The students also get to work on a tight schedule throughout their MBA which is a great thing, there will always be something to keep us occupied like events, competitions and sessions which gives real world exposure to students

Dislikes

The college is strict in most of the aspects as they maintain high discipline all the time
Hostel closing time is at 9PM, so it's more restriction on students to go out and order food

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. The college has totally 6 semesters and after the 4th semester the students are eligible to attend the placements. The students need a minimum of 4.8/8.00 CGGA to sit in the placements The companies which visit here are - EY, KPMG, Mindsprint, Lowe's, Accenture, Tata Power, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Sabre, Oxane, Well's Fargo. The highest package was from Lowe's and the package was 23.7 LPA and the role was Product manager, it was offered for people from engineering background and with 2 years of experience. The average package here is 10.5LPA and most of the companies come for this range. The percentage of students getting placed is close to 95% as some of them don't clear the eligibility and some don't get placement event with good CGPA. Plans after getting degree is to join work and continue to learn

Likes

Faculty: The faculty has a good practical and real life knowledge. Which helps in leaning industry standard skills.
Opportunity: College provides good opportunity and exposure for perfect growth of student.

Dislikes

Campus: The campus of college is not very big, which limits students in organizing bigger occasion.

Placement Experience:

College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.

Placement Experience:

IIM B has a record of 100 per cent placements both during summer internship placements and final placements. Other than these two there are also lateral placements. Summer internship placements happen in the second semester, and laterals and finals happen in the sixth semester.

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

review about the GIBS

i applied to the flame university which is located at pune it has one of the best infrastructures in india the college has verything but the reason why i didnt choose that college was the placements, the placements were very less when compared to the fee they charged and i also applied for isbr and got selected bu i chose GIBS over ISBR because of their IRE program they hav i was very much impressed by the IRE program the admission process was an online interview and then a GD round and then we were selected. the minimum eligibility criteria is that we need to have a valid and a decent score from our entrance exam....Read More
