Likes

The campus is beautiful a have a good infrastructure.
There are adequate amount of computer labs and the library is also big enough to accomodate all types of books related to different courses.
The placement opportunity is good and the college itself have a good brand name

Dislikes

The campus size is so small and most of the food items are overprised.
Theres so much of student crowd in the campus compared to the infrastructure.
The faculty is not supportive and the studies in the college is not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate thye curriculam 4 out of 5. It covers the core concepts well and provides a good foundation for both higher studeis and industry rellated skills. I chose btech as it offres a mix of theretical and practical subjects that match current carrer opportunities. Exams are moderate with internals and end semester exams

Placement Experience

the students become eligible for the placements in the 6th semester itself. Reputed companies visit the campu, and placement opportunities are decent for eligible students. I plan to secure a campus placement, gain industry experience, and build my career after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 3lakh fees per year and at the time of addmission i paid 21 thousand extra as addmision fess which was one time. And also we have to pay semester wise exam fee which varies eyery semester between 3000-4000 rupees. If someone gets 10 cgpa continuous for 2 semester then the student gets a fee weaver of 50%.

Campus Life

Campus life is enjoyable, with cultural fests, technical events, sports, and active student clubs. The Library has good academic resources, classrooms are well-equipped, and extracurricular activities keep students engaged.

Admission

I chose this college for its affordable fees, good academics, good inrastructure, lush green campus and good placement opportunities. The admission process was smooth and merit-based on the board exam results, making it a practical choice over other options.

Faculty

the faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to approach whenever we have doubts. the faculty to student ratio is decent which is 1:25. so students get enough attension. The exam pattern includes 2 internal assesments and practical and assignment marks which makes total 60% of the entire semester marks and the rest 40% marks come from the end semester exams of the core subjects.

Night Life

Nightlife is calm and safe. Students usually hang out in nearby restaurants like mahalaxmi restraunt, casa, jain chatore and Muntara kitchen. There are library , cafes and gym inside the college campuses and also theres a gym outside the coolege main gate, hostel entry rules ensure safety. the area around the campus is generally quite and safe around the campus.

Placement Experience:

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

Likes

All the teachers are highly qualified mostly from IIT and NIT
In the first year the infrastructure is amazing
The teachers are always concerned about the students but their marks Academics and their issues

Dislikes

There is nothing to be disliked everything is going well..

Placement Experience:

The College placements are very awesome like the last year the higher package was 34 lakhs and the average pockets is 5 lakh per annum and 300 + company is a visiting every year and students are getting place in good companies..

Placement is present it depends on the students if a student is capable the college provides 40 to 50 percent students get placed in the companies highest according to me was 35 as I don't no very much whats the highest package avg package is of 7 lpa and min package is 3.5 lpa

Likes

I like my course as it is not available in many colleges in India yet. And the labs and practical conducted by our faculty.
Faculty is friendly and helpful when help is needed and college enroll us in important courses
Habit of enrolling us in intership programs from second year online or offline, so we have a habit of it.

Dislikes

Hostel food are terrible some days and the washroom are dirty .
Restrictions to girls in hostel as girls can't roam in the college hostel after 7pm but boys can roam in the college whole night . Also girls have to get output to go outside but boys doesn't need it.
Buildings are all in a small area , looks more like a school than a college and we have no sitting are in the canteen so we have to sit in the class even in the break hours.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIET is nice with approx 70% students are getting placed also this year until now 4 students are placed with 40lpa . Companies like infosys, Capgemini, GoDaddy and many more visit the college. Our highest package is 53lpa and average is 6 to 7 lakhs with minimum 4 lakhs. Currently my first goal is getting placed in cyber security domain.

Perfect review for a tier 3 college

Likes

The first year faculties are very supportive, in every aspect and terms they help a lot.
They provide equal opportunities in other field as well like games, hackathons, tournaments, etc.

Dislikes

There are very less number of events organised periodically.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards, students are eligible for the campus placements. All the big companies visit our college like microsoft, amazon, google, accenture, ibm, etc. Percentage of students getting placed is 98%. If a student doesn't gets places either he goes to further studies or for startups.

Likes

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

College is best for studies and fees affordability, but not for cultural activities.

Likes

The fees of college is very affordable to those students who can't afford the high fees of other college.
The faculties of this college is very supportive and having high academic records i.e. PhD. The faculties have give more efforts to those students who does not have clear basics of their field.
The college provide all labs facilities and Library also, and perform all the activities that give a boost idea to students.

Dislikes

There is striction to leave any classes or go to your own home. Hardly they give leave to students.
The College library opens from 9 am to 4.30 pm and the classes running time is 9 am to 4 pm. If you want to learn in library you won't because the timing is fixed.
There is less cultural activities happens. The one happens that is Rhythm Divine per year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th or 8th semester students are eligible for Campus Placement. IT Companies: Amazon, Cisco, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Genpact, Hexaview, Meditab. Non-IT Companies: TATA Steel, Samsung, Sony India, Coca-cola, IndiaMart, Apollo, Xerox, Organic India, Daffodil, Axis Bank, Piramal Group, Walmart, Siemens. Other Notable Recruiters: Birlasoft, CronJ, Anglo-Eastern, LANCO, GSG. Almost 85 to 90% get placed. My plans should be opt for Mtech.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

Other colleges I applied are MM college CCS University, KN Miet and IP University. I choose this college over the others because I don't want to go far from my city and this is the only college that fulfilling my requirement.
