- the college conducts many technical,non echnical and cultural events giving students opportunities o partcipate and improve skills
- several faculty members are highly supportive, approachable and encourage students in academics as well as extracurrricular activities

- the quality of both tap water and the packaged drinking water could be improved
- the restrooms require regular maintainance to ensure better hygine
- as the campus is located within the city, it is relatively compact with limited open space
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose bioechnology because its ia a rapidly growing field that combines biology and technolgy to solve real world problems.it offers divers specializations and career opportunities in healthcare, bioinformatics, pharmaceuticals.The 1st year mainly focuses on common engineering subjects which helps to build a strong foundation. while curriculum becomes more focused on core biotechnology subjects from2nd year onwards. however laboraory facilities could be improved to better practical learning experiences
Internships Opportunities
the college encourages students to participate in internships and industry oriented projects to gain practical exposure, these projects enhance practical knowledge and skills,while strengthening resumes and improving placement opportunities
Placement Experience
The college provides placement traing from the 1st year through apitude, communicaion and technical skill development.As the biotechnology deparment is relatively new, campus placements are still developing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for my course comes around aprx ₹ 1,92,000.This includes Tution Fee,E-learning Fee,and Cultural Fee - ₹1,42,000 CDC Fee - ₹ 25,000 Book Fee - ₹ 25,000. Additionaly the semster examination fee comes around ₹ 5000 per semester.NPTEL certification and lab fee might be incurred separately.The total fee of 4 years course is aprx ₹ 8,00,000.As of my batch,there has been no major fee increase , the college also offers financial assistance through merit scholarship,firs graduate concession and goverment scholarships for eligible students
Campus Life
campus life is engaging with events such as Freshers day,Talentias, technical symposium,, and celebrations for various festivals throughout the year, the library has good collection of academic books,and referrence materials.the college encourages sports and provide support for students pursuing sports a a higher level .there are also several active student clubs which help students develop leadershipskills
Admission
I chose this college because of its good academic reputation, Anna university afilliation,and its convenient location within the city which makes commuting convenient, the college also offers a good balance of academics and extracurricular activities.Admission is avilable through TNEA counselling based on 12 th marks or through mangement quota.
Faculty
the facuty members are supportive, approachable, and maintain friendly relationship with students, making it easy for studens to seek academic guidance.The college also provides faculty mentors and counselling support for students in need. the course follows anna universiy curriculum of 8 sem over 4yrs , languages are included only during the first two semesters.however a the exams are cat continous assesment test, assignnments, lab evalution and end semester examination
Night Life
The area around college is generally safe.The campus has multiple cafeterias which is usually crowded and the OAT open air theatre is a popular hangout spot with seating area.Hostel facilities are available,however the quality of food could be improved.
