Course Curriculum Overview

4

The concept of field work curriculum made me choose the course The subjects help students learn real-life concepts and apply them in the field while studying. Areas to improve include adapting to the evolving industry Exams are well spaced, and they're in the afternoon with moderate difficulty

Internships Opportunities

4

Did an internship at Titan. Role: HR Internship Tasks include learning the HR functions of the organisation. Projects are assigned and depend on the needs of the organisation. It's non-stipendiary. Also, NGO internships are given and concurrent field work during the semester is done

Placement Experience

3

Students in the 3rd semester are eligible, and more than 5 to 8 companies come for placements, such as TCS, ITC, and W3Global. The highest package is around 11 LPA, and avg is 5 LPA 65% get placed Have to get placements via campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are semester-wise Odd sem (June- Nov) would be around 60k and Even Sem(Dec to May) would be around 50K The odd semester has components such as tuition fee and computer fee. TN Government scholarships are available for students

Campus Life

4

Deepwoods is an annual 3-day event in the college with dj,singers and happens between january to march. Miller Library is one of the oldest libraries with various journals. Students have clubs like the reading club, innovative club and sports. Also, events are conducted every month for students and celebrations for festivals happen

Admission

Didn't apply to others. The admission process is entrance process, where there is a test based on general knowledge and there is a group discussion and a personal interview.Overall, it was a good experience but it's better to have a percentage above 60%in UG to get easily shortlisted for the entrance

Faculty

4

It's 1 :10, Faculties are approachable and the mentor system makes approaching easier There are 3 internals where 2 are written and 1 is a creative component. Best of two would be selected and aggregate out of 50 is the internals and semster is done for 100 and converted for 50 marks. It's easier to pass but courses such as research and labour law need special attention to clear them

Interview Experience

5

GD included current affairs and societal topics. The interview is based on self and subject knowledge in social work, psychology and sociology(if UG is from these streams). The written test is an MCQ Other criteria include being part of NSS, NCC or any club activities

Night Life

3

The facilities like canteen and library open at 8 am to 6.15 pm and the hostel has a curfew of 7.30 pm. Famous hangouts include the bell tower, stone bench, tanks, and gutters on campus. It is somewhat safe to roam locally. There are food spots near campus

Sri Krishna Arts and Science College influence many social activities and improve the academic skills of the people, they won't allow us to do any extra curricular activities. They just focusing on the academics only. And also they won't allow us to take leave in critical situations. Very strict and very bad faculties in strict and they won't allow us, they will strictly make us do so many things.

I am very interested in my higher education and I am very much interested in field exposure so I choose this course. The relationship between faculty and students is very good and such a useful one in this institution and this course and the students have a good rapport with the faculty members. Faculty members are highly experienced and good knowledge people. The teaching method is mostly discussion and lectures. It's very easy to pass this course with the best guidance.
