Remarks

Overall the college is the best and well equipped with faculty and infrastructure and better support from the management. They even help us in getting placements by helping us through our negative areas like improving our skills and knowledge. They even provide Placement training sessions every year for improving the communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is designed by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad as most of the colleges are affiliated to this University also mine. Exams are conducted once for every semester in the months of December and April every 6 months. Even 2 internals are conducted every semester which are then added to the externals during December and April.

Placement Experience

5

There is a separate department of faculty for placements, who help in developing our skills, knowledge and prepare us for the interview. Every year nearly 30 to 40 companies attend for the placements drive. Every in the 3rd year many companies provide internships for students by testing their skills and through interviews and most of the companies provide stipends to the students.

College Events

4.5

Every year college conducts Orientation day for the newly joining students into first year, Freshers day, Annual day and fests. They even invite celebrities and dignitaries for encouraging the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Free structure for the current first great batch is with 70K through EAMCET convener quota and for management it is around 1 lakh per year. Based on other colleges around in that area or college is the best in fees based on the infrastructure and facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students get scholarship from the government for castes ST,SC,BC students. Students whose father salary is less than 1lakh per annum other than above mentioned caste get scholarship under Economically Backward Classes quota from government. To avail these facilities student should qualify the common entrance exam - EAMCET.

Campus Life

5

Labs in our college are improved or replaced with latest equipment every year with excellent support from the faculty to the students. Every year before the annual day celebrations they conduct inter college sports in all the areas like cricket, football, tennis, volley ball, basketball etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

It is best to avail hostels around the college which are private hostels. All the colleges have a high hostel fees around 70K per year which is very high and based on the price it is best to stay in private hostels or in rooms. Infrastructure and facilities are good, but it is very expensive fees for it.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year they conduct alumni meet to help the passed out students know the current situation by sharing the experiences of the seniors. They help even in getting a job in their known areas. They share the obstacles they overcome and help the students in facing them without any fear.

Admission

I have attended for the EAMCET qualifier exam and got the rank after which I have attended the counseling. For my rank I have been alloted my college for the list of colleges I have opted, in which my college is the first option.

Faculty

4.5

Best faculty, and is developing every semester. They help every student in developing their knowledge by giving practical examples, and through lab experiments. They teach by providing live examples through videos, using projectors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
