No negative remarks, positive remarks include a zero ragging, that's the main goal of the student welfare department of the college. Good hostel facility and PG facility in the nearby area can be added.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its as prescribed by VTU. semester wise exams to be conducted. Course curriculum is as per the Vtu syllabus. It provides Course in different fields CS, IS, EC and Mech. It teaches both curriculum and extra curriculum activities also include.

Placement Experience

College provides internship. It has good placement opportunities. It gets the highest number of placements in the region. It also provides internship in the final year for the graduating students. Internships are provided by good number of companies.

College Events

Aakriti is an yearly fest at the college. Its a three day event of the college. Aayudha pooja is another event conducted every year. It has many technical events being conducted every year. And many other events are also held up.

Alumni network is good at the college. Alumni students visit college regularly to provide guidance to the students and give talks about their experience in the fields they are working in. Alumni students are helpful.

Admission

Through Cet Ranking. The other option is by management seat where in there is a 10% discount for Konkani and Canara Pu students. Its fee structure is less compared to other colleges in the area around.

Faculty

Its supportive in all aspects. It supports you to take part in activities and competitions held by different companies. It also completes the curriculum that is provided by the University. It has a well experienced faculty.

Likes

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Likes

Campus is amazing lot of open spaces and maintains all the greenary
The faculty is good as they all are practicing architects
The sports facility is also really good as there r lot of tournaments

Dislikes

Work load given is a lot and the pressure of submissions are unbareable
They expect a lot frm 1st sem students and forget the fact tht we jus started
Lot of teacher student rivalry and affecting the overall passing of the students

Course curriculum is amazing but again the aheets given and the expected submissions for a 1st yesr is too much and the pressure is high .the teaching methods r basically every 10 students r allotted to s mentor who then guides them thru the design process

The teaching faculty is the best here all the doctors who come to teach us are well trained and knowledgeable
The lab facilities are also very good here, we are having good access to the lab also
We are also getting easy access to the Hospital whenever we want to which is giving us good clinical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

This college has the best infrastructure in the area. They classrooms are huge enough to hold the capacity of at least 150 students. All the labs are highly equipped and all the classes have smart class projectors.

SAIACS is one of the best institutes

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.

It’s Okay to be not Okay

Being an Neet aspirant I failed to get a seat in the medical after taking a year drop and the next option that left for me was engineering.soo bcz of Neet my cet didn't went good and didn't get good ranking. Apart from this college the currently i am pursuing u have applied for 3 other colleges one is Sahyadri, st.joseph,and mite.due to ranking difference I couldn't get seat in those colleges. Those three college was the most preferred to me and Canara was an extra option for me but unfortunately I got seat here in all the three rounds that made me feel so disappointing. Why I think the rest 3 colleges are better then Canara is because of the location the college located and the locality and compared to Canara the other three colleges had good placements and the students that come to those three colleges have a good mindset and would have helped me to improvise myself but here in this college we will find 60-70% of gsb students and students from villages who r rather worried about the future developing changes in the world or knowledge on the technical thing or the technology they r just focused on clearing the subject of the exams that's it ....Read More
