Remarks

There are very less negative about the college, this is the best college you can find in Bangalore and also south India , best college to your all-round development, this is the best college in terms of coaching and placement

Course Curriculum Overview

The course provided by this college is way ahead of other universities ,the college follows semester scheme of exams ie 2 exams per acadamic year , and you will be given an extra chance known as make up if u have scored good in internal tests

Placement Experience

Placement are the best in BMSCE. Colleges has a cent percentage of placement record , you will definitely get placed atleast for 3.5 lac package, Only thing is most of the companies that come to offer you a job are software companies.

College Events

Utsav is the yearly fest of the college which is very grandly celebrated and very famous event of banglore , celebrities would be invited ,and this is one such event where in you can showcase your talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very feasible if you get into the college through common entrance test, and very very expensive if u want to get into the college through management quota. Very common people can never afford the fee asked by them if you want to enter through management quota

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship from college would be given to those who tops the acadamic year , the other scholarship should be applied under govt schemes like sc/St scholarship or Vidya Siri, as I have not taken any loans I have no idea about it

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are also given atmost preference in the college. You can definitely showcase your talent this college is one such place for your all-round development , these labs are the best labs you will find

Alumni/Alumna

As I have just finished my UG I don't have much idea about alumni network , I am yet to experience any of these stuffs , as of now when ever any functions takes place in college seniors will be invited and they will let us know the experience ofater graduation

Admission

Get a good marks in common entrance test , stay with in 5k rank ,and you will definitely get admitted, select the college during option entry , code 02 It has both aided and un aided seats , getting good CET rank will fetch u aided seat

Faculty

Faculty in this college are very experienced , has very nice way of lecturing , they teach us to be self dependent by the end of 1st year , but will definitely clear all the doubts if u ask them personally ,or in class , very good faculty of EEE

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

We have a temporary campus .which was taken as rent in goverment engeneering college raichur .and permanent campus was yet to finish by the time juniors come the permanent campus will be getting finished.just needed the proper campus no improvments
The campus life was not as expected by a student because here the cluns are not very active like in any other colleges , u can enjot a lot with your friends in your hostel.
Every branch has a faculty adviser we can meet them and discuss our problems with them .the faculry were very good they were well experienced ,they teach in general way as any teacher does on a digital board.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that good , the students were not getting places for good amount of package as expected .
The labs were not well maintained that should be resolved that is the main problem in this college as well as library we have a very small library which is in a size of a regular class
Hostel was not within the campus which makes some difficulty to walk through the streets with roaming buses and cars and bikes , in our college boy girl ration was very less it is 1: 7 like that.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %

I chose this college because I wanted to pursue CSE and this college seems to be a good option to do so. I did get rejection from a few colleges because I could crack their entrance exam. To get admission here, you need to pass the entrance exam, get above 60% in your 12 th grade. Kcet is most preferred exam for students. Overall admission experience is simple and okay....Read More
