The faculty student ratio is like 1:3. I like my maths teacher so much so friendly and helpful there are 7 exam in my semester and the paper is quite difficult this time. 1/4 of the students in our class failed to clear the exam

Ok so fests called culrav and avishkar happens here in the winters, where avishkar is techno fest and culrav as the name is suggesting is culture fest, includes singing, dramas , dancing competition etc. Sports facilities are good , however only athletics club is prominent in winning medals at inter nit.library is well occupied by books(academic). Variety of clubs and it includes good senior- junior interactions. Also and business related club called E cell. So anyone looking for start up can show up here. However, Infra sucks a lot, all old buildings, small campus area, gets half for boys.

Well I had interest in subjects of Computer science, that is the reason I joined it. Curriculum highly helps to be in accordance to the current job requirements. Those left out are fulfilled by clubs and committee related to skills. More practical approach needs to be induced in our curriculum and mordern teaching methods should be showcased by our teachers. While exams are mid can be clear by studying regularly , still sometimes it is difficult to crack them. Timming for exams can vary, like it could be 9-12:30 amor 2-5:30 pm.

Faculty in our college is good and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts in simple way and help students when needed. Faculty to student ratio is decent, so students can easily talk to teachers and clear doubts. Teachers are friendly and approachable. Some teachers are very helpful and motivating, especially in core subjects and labs. Overall teaching quality is good. Course structure is well planned and useful. Subjects are relevant to our branch and help in building basics. Exams are held semester wise with internal tests and final exams. Internal exams are easy to moderate and final exams are moderate. If students study regularly, passing is not difficult. Very few students fail, mostly due to lack of study.

Placements in our college are decent and improving every year. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Some companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and a few core and local companies. Average package is around 3 to 4 LPA and highest package goes up to 6 to 7 LPA depending on company and role. Around 60–70% students get placed, and others go for higher studies or off-campus jobs. College also provides training, aptitude classes, and interview practice to improve skills. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my technical skills and try for a good core or IT job.

My per semester fees is 1,50,000 and In one year there are 2 semester so my annual fees is 3,00,000 after paying my sem fees I don't have to pay anything else like examination fees etc all activities are included in this only Fees is same of all my batchmates I don't have any idea about scholarship as I haven't heard of any such info so I would not comment on this If a student opt for hostel he / she has to pay 75000 approx for hostel accommodation which includes all (rent , food etc ) per sem it means 1,50,000 for 1 year Or if a student opt for bus transportation he / she has to pay money 42000-45000 it varies if student is from chd the fees is 42000 , some places are from 43000 or something Note : bus fees is yearly (42000-45000)

There are mostly 1 or very rare 2 trainers and one teacher for a subject so the faculty to student ratio is pretty good , they are very helpful in case there's any type of doubt regarding their subjects Arouns 7 subjects in per semester in which 1 is Coursera which is online course which is simplest, around 1 swayam course which is very easy , 2-3 subjects are theory based , when it comes to tough there are 1 or mostly 2 subjects which are coding, they are not difficult but a little hard to understand

The college has a good placement scenario for almost all branches. Students become eligible for placement 7th semester onwards. The college has a dedicated training and placement cell which conducts regular aptitude training, technical sessions , mock interviews, and resume workshops to help us. The companies that visit our campus are TCS, infosys, accenture, capegimini, honeywell, deloitte, amazon, microsoft. The highest package yet is of 45 lpa, the median package of 10 lpa. The college has a 86.3% placement rate.

i would say the curriculum is quite relevant to the industry requirements and comprehensive. One of the main reason i chose instrumentation was the balanced focus on core engineering subjects along with practical labs , projects etc. The exam pattern includes one course project per subject. MDM courses and two written papers during endsem, as well as viva, and one major project for the course "Engineering Design Innovation".

There are so much enjoyable fests in that college there are freshers party called mestros in every year and a well known personality came to entertain us. There are a wide range of books and journals available in the library good authors and also the faculty's books are also available there. The sports activities are also there a volleyball ground cricket ground basketball courts are also there.

I have decided to do that course basically because of my own choice and interest. This prepares to me for a better future carrier. The teaching method must be improved by teaching the syllabus in a slowed form. The exams are 3 hour long sometimes it is sufficient but in some lengthty writing subjects it is not as much sufficient

The faculty of student ratio is of around 50:1 the relationship between student and faculty id great too vidula miss is one of the best faculties as she helps every students and also there are faculties who need to improve their behaviors with students there are 4 sems in each year with some additional exams

I belong to obc caste and my fees waas lowered to a affordable price they have reservations for obc students which is great fees was around 90,000 which includes every facilty and tution there are various types of scholarships available

I would rate the course curriculum of my college (RVCE) as relevent and fairly comprehensive , there is combination of core subjects, laboratory work, elective and exams in project based learning and also experiential learning - 1 interdisiplinary for all core subject and induvidual el for elective and lab . The curiculum prepares us to take up real time world problems, they support talents of induvidual as it has many student club and had many hakathon conducting along with institutions autonomous curriculum design (vtu affiliated), so these and its reputation as one od the top engineering college known for its curriculum , fest and selection procees ,influenced my decision to choose this course. So its curriculum prepares students well for higher studies , research and real world application . Though it can be furter improved by increasing industry exposure and hands on , application oriented teaching methods. Exams are conducted semester wise with 3 internal assignment and respective lab internals and 1 semester end exam and over all difficulty level is moderate.

As i was admitted through KCET ,general catogery , the yearly fee paid / payable is aproximately 1.27 Lakh(1st year ),1.26 Lakh(2nd year ) ,1.19 lakh (3rd year) ,1.13 Lakh (4th year) . This include tution fees ranges from 76135 to 64686 , it reduces gradually year by year. So overall fee slightly decreaces each year. batchmates admitted through COMEDK pay high tution fee approx 2.61 lakh to 2.37 lakh , this also decreases year wise , while management quota student pay substantially high fee . SC/ST students through KCET and under quota ,pay very minimal amount as most of their fee are coverde under reimbursement and scholarship schemes. about scholarship : Eligible student can apply for government merit and merit cum needscholarship . Alumni funded scholarship is also available , though the amount is not disclosed in advance.

Since i belong to ST category i use to fill e-kalyan scholarship from the government of jharkhand every year untill my graduation was finished. I compared it with Chandigarh University and the reviews about this college were good ya it has many more restriction compared to other colleges but the academic is good the curriculum focused primarily on practical knowledge thus every student from my batch who are working in an company as an intern has recieved ppo offer , the core subjects which are taught by professor can be improved as the quality of professors are not that good although the technical stuff is taught by professional trainers who are highly skilled and knowledgeable exams are frequent like every 2 months we get internals and all that

I like navaratri most because in our college this festival are celebrated in with all college students and staff with full of joy Also we organise one annual function, one dj party for ganesh chaturthi. Faculty to students ratio is good in college. Also relationship with faculties are very good. I like dr. Malam sir because they study style is very good. They are good in teaching. I don't like dr. My overall experience with campus life at Lovely professional University LPU has been very engaging and memorable, especially in terms of social exposure, student activities, clubs and infrastructure IPO provide a vibrant campus environment that helps student grow not only academically but also personally and socially Social life and student interaction Help you has a very diverse student population with students coming from different states of India and even from other countries. This diversity creates a rich social environment where students get exposure to different cultures, languages and perspectives. Interaction among students is frequent through classes, groups, project host life, clubs and events. The campus atmosphere is lively and student can't easily make friends and build strong network. The University maintain a safe disciplined environment which make social interaction comfortable for both boys and girls. They are clear Roots and security measures in place, ensuring positive campus experience. My overall campus life experience at LPU has been active and enjoyable. The university offers a diverse social environment with students from different backgrounds. There are many clubs, culture and technical events like one India, sports activities and workshops. Classrooms are modern with Smartbus labs are well equipped and the library has a wide range of books and digital resources, overall, the infrastructure and campus life support, both learning, and personal growth.

I'll be paying 96000 rupees of this year. There is 4000 of caution fees.and there is also little reservation for sc,st. My batchmate is of general category he has also same fees structure. There is post matric scholarship which is not for general category and other type of scholarship is mmvy which contains the criteria of first mp domicile and student's rank under 1.5 lakh and above 75 percent in mp board or above 85 percent in cbse board

If we talk about placement so we can say it is decent and after fourth semester students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visit like infosys, cognizant, ZS etc. the highest package of this college is 27 lakhs in 2024 by ZS and avg. Packing we can say it is approx 6 lakhs per annum. There is approx 60 percent of students getting placements. And my plan is taking decent placement.

Jims has internship opportunities through placements. Jims hosts many companies for placements like Infosys, wipro , amazon, HCL etc . Many students had secured the positions in different roles. Projects helps in enhancing practical knowledge and improves technical skills

Jims has placements opportunities that is why i have choosen it. Students are available for placements from the pre-final year. The average package is about 7 LPA. Around 60-70% students get placed. After completing the degree , i wanna enhance my skills.

Placement Deptt of College is very good and students got eligible after 5th Semester for Placement. During Placement Drive, all the top level companies visited to College Campus, even I got 4 Offers from different companies, whereas i Joined ICICI Bank due to flexible working hours and salary pakcage was good also.

There were approx. 27 faculties and student to faculty ratio was approx 1:15 which was excellent and all the faculties are good in their knowledge as per their subjects and whenever i needed any supports in terms of my subjects, they are always available.

A fixed faculty:student ratio is hard to give because intake is large and term-wise.Faculty interaction happens through recorded lectures, live sessions,and discussion forums,so approachability depends a lot on how actively doubts are posted and followed up. The relationship feels more structured than personal. Mentorship exists through doubt-clearing sessions and forum replies, but it’s not like one professor knows every student by name. Still, clear questions definitely get clear support from the course team. Best faculty is subjective, and instructors can change by course and term. A practical way to say it: the best instructors are the ones who explain step-by-step, stay consistent, and actively clear doubts in live sessions/forums.Some instructors may feel fast-paced or less engaging, but the course structure still keeps learning on track. Learning is weekly and regular:graded online assignments through the term,plus in-person invigilated quizzes and an invigilated end-term exam for each course.This setup rewards consistent effort more than last-minute studying. For each course, there are typically 2 quizzes and 1 end-term exam, along with weekly assignments. Since quizzes and end-terms happen at exam centres with invigilation, the exam side feels strict and serious, not casual. Weekly assignments and quizzes carry weight along with the end-term, and eligibility rules apply before sitting for the end-term. So staying steady across the term matters more than one good day. The difficulty feels moderate to high depending on the course. It feels tougher when multiple courses are taken together because deadlines, quizzes, and end-terms can overlap. Consistency is the real hack here. There isn’t one fixed failure percentage that fits every term and every subject. A realistic way to say it is: students usually struggle when weekly work slips. The curriculum stays practical because it mixes concepts with graded practice,not just theory. It builds skills step-by-step.

At my college, fees could be one limiting factor for low to low-middle class families. For most UG courses like BBA, BCA, AND BJMC, the tuition and academic fees is around Rs. 96,000 in first yr then increments to Rs. 5,000 to 8,000 each yr based on the course. The total course fees comes out to be approximately 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh in total. Students also pay a one-time registration fees and a minor security deposit. Transport is optional. (Rs. 5,000 per month) Hostel charges are seperate. The fees includes tuition, development, lab, library and exam charges. Fees usually increases slightly every year as I mentioned above so students shouldn't expect the same amount throughout the course. JIMS offers merit-based fee waivers. There are also merit-cum-need scholarships and govt. schemes for SC/ST/EWS students as well. In short total costs depend on the type of course, category and your own academic strengths and weaknesses.

So in my case, I had taken AI and Data science as I had a passion for numbers and analytics from early on. This is just my second semester, so we haven't really gone into detail about the tech aspects too much as the first year is just focused on providing us with real life skills and providing us basic knowledge of all aspects like engineering drawing, workshop processes like casting, welding and even environmental studies and personality development. The faculties provide us notes after each lecture and explain everything with a lot of precision and ease. Somewhere it could be improved is that sometimes the flow of the lectures becomes monotonous and boring, so teacher should conduct quizzes and engaging exercises to keep the students awake.... Since I am a well off academic student, I don't really have too much difficulty grasping the concepts taught and I also help my colleagues and classmates with the same....
