Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure for my course is quite straightforward, althought it is on the higher side. i belong to oc category,so there is no special concession or reservation to me the total fee is 1,50,000 feee per year. apart of tution fee there are a few additional compulsory charges thst every student has to pay ,it include the registration fee and exam fee and some other fees are added its around 100000 to 15000 in my department ,schorships are available mainly based on the merit and the financial needs merit-cum-means schorships can reduce thetution fee

Course Curriculum Overview

the course cirriculum is well stuctured and course all he essential concepts needed for both practical learning and future studies. one of the key reasons i chose this couse was its strong focus on industry relevent subjects the circulaum includes a good balance of theory and hands on learning through out the labs and projects. the exam schedule is well planned overrall ciriculam is comprehensive and supportive for both acadamics and career growth

Placement Experience

Placement has been improving year after year despite the market being bad, but end of the day you will be relying on what you learn and what skills you develop to get a internship and a job, college also provides internships from 3rd year of engineering

Faculty

this is subjective but with mass intake in all colleges, I am not so sure, but my experience, the faculty has been decent so far, they care about their wards and are pretty fair for everyone, So yeah, they are alright

Fees and Financial Aid

my first year fee is 34,600 rupees. i think it is the same for all, irrespective of categories. it is structured and splitted as follow: 1.university development fee-?1500, 2. university favilities and service charges-?1500, 3. economically weaker sector support university fund-?250 , 4. tuition fee-?180, 5. student welfare fund-?4970, 5.college development fund-?15300, 6. college facilities and service charges-?8400, 7. upgradation, operation and maintenance of laboratories- ?2500. there are various scholarships available like the lic golden jublee scholarship offering upto 40,000 rupees and reliance foundation scholarship upto 1 lakh rupees.

Faculty

faculty is actually very good. my favorite is zoology department's sunita ma'am. she inspires me a lot. rest others are also very approachable and talented.the course curriculum is not very relevant. we have end sems and mid sems exams each theory paper is of 60 marks and rest 40 is taken from IA and each practical is also of 60 and the rest 40 is taken from IA which includes attendance, projects, assignments, practical copy, viva.

Campus Life

Campus life was good we had a Huge campus. the greenery was good. the onyl thing i liked about sandip university is that the Festival Days and the events like Ganesh utsov every department has theri own ganapti bappa. even the holi festivals is also good experince like the DJ and the natural colours it was good experinces. the average time span of these events was around 4 to 5 days so it was quite refreshing. the library was good it has lot of books from my course aspect. the facilities like WiFi, Projector, charging points on every desk, Water filter was there but idk why not a single one is Working. the sports culture is good they support teams to play nationally. extracurricular activties was good like we had a visit to nearby aashrams we help the aashram with some basic food supplies with the help of the college and from the students it was good experince. there are so many clubs in sandip university but peronally i liked only trekkers club and the drama club cause the students were cool from these clubs. tbh there was lot of other clubs as well like programming club , dance club, etc etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course plan at KIET is set by the state tech university; therefore, core subjects follow the same plan used in most tech colleges under AKTU. The first year covers basic topics to set the base in maths, coding, physics, and general tech ideas. Moving from the second year, the plan goes into real subjects linked to the branch. The plus point is that labs and add-on tasks help to gain real usage skills and not just book learning. Also, this plan adds on skill add-on tracks like coding labs, mock talks, and project works which prepare us for jobs or higher study. Still, some of the subjects are old and need a fresh plan as technology is changing very fast. In each term, two mid-term tests and one end-term test take place, and the plan is pretty good. It is not too hard if you study notes on time. The paper has both short and long type questions and real problems. During the third and fourth year, we do project work, and many clubs help in joining hack events and skill tasks. I feel that the plan is good, but more and more real case work and new technology topics such as AI, ML, cloud, and cyber should be added.

Campus Life

Campus life at KIET is active and full of events throughout the year. The campus has both cultural and tech fests, which bring great energy. The major fests are Epoque and Enthuse which happen once a year and include contests, shows, games, and stage acts. There are also branch fests and hack events held in many months. Clubs play a big role in student life. Coding clubs, dance and music clubs, media club, and sports teams give space to learn and grow. Students run many of the clubs and they help a lot in boosting skills and confidence. The campus has a large library with a huge range of books and a digital section that has online journals and e-books. Labs are well-built and have the tools needed for project and study work. The classrooms have smart board support and good seating. Sports ground, gym, and indoor game rooms add to the fun part of campus life. The crowd is friendly and we get to meet new people fast. The campus feels safe and clean and there are many spots to sit, talk, or study. All in all, life here has a good balance of study and fun.

Course Curriculum Overview

I rate the course curriculums 8 out of 10, why 8 because it has taught us many practical values in labs, classrooms and even in some parts of college. Why not 2 is because they don't let us play inside the college despite of having ground ,cricket equipments ,footbal ,basketball ,and volleyball also.and they take extra fee for having food in college,we need to pay around 60 rs per day for lunch

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is private so there is no scholarship and regarding fees ,it is 1.2 lakhs per year and i pay extra 1 lakh for pg in bangalore, tuition fees is around 50000rs to 60000rs .caution fees around 2000rs to 5000rs .registration fees is 100rs and rest of around 10000rs to30000rs.And all my batchmates are having are same fees structure. No fees catechetical as per cast and all.

Faculty

Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur has a moderate faculty-to-student ratio, but the actual experience varies by department. In general, students feel that faculty members are not very approachable and the level of support outside the classroom is limited. Many students mention that teachers do not focus much on practical learning or skill development, which affects the overall academic experience. Since individual teachers’ names can vary by batch, the overall sentiment from students is that the teaching quality is inconsistent and most classes rely heavily on theory rather than hands-on understanding. Faculty-Student Relationship The faculty-student relationship is generally formal. Students often feel that teachers are not very available for doubts or extra help, and the teaching style is mostly traditional. Many students report that they need to rely on self-study, YouTube tutorials or seniors for understanding practical subjects. Course Structure The diploma curriculum is set by BTER (Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan). Key points: The syllabus is mostly theoretical. Practical labs are part of the structure, but many students say the practical learning is weak because the equipment is outdated or not used regularly. The curriculum has not been updated frequently, so its relevance to modern industry is limited. Exam System BTER conducts centralized semester or yearly exams (depending on batch). The pattern usually includes: Theory exams Practical exams Internal assessments (sometimes inconsistent depending on department)

Placement Experience

Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur does not have a strong campus placement system. In most years, very few companies visit, and many branches do not get any meaningful campus recruitment. Because of this, students mostly rely on off-campus opportunities, referrals, or plan to continue higher studies. Placement Eligibility Students are generally considered placement-eligible from: 5th semester onward But the number of companies actually visiting is limited, so eligibility hardly matters. Companies That Visit In some years, a few local or small-scale companies visit for basic technical roles or internships, but: No major core companies No big IT recruiters No MNC participation Because the visits are inconsistent, the number of offers varies widely and is usually very low.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 4th year or from 7th semester. There are many companies who come for placements like nvidia was also coming. And now companies like tata, tcs, lieber are there. The placement of college is 70% with average package of 1600000. My plan is to do further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very outdated. The subject like physics and beee are not important for mechanical students. But the subjects like eg are important for the branch. The exams are conducted to regularly. There should be more focus on skills rather than pen paper test.

Faculty

Faculties of GHRCE are overall good , the faculty student ration is also good and the teachers are mostly reachable. If you ask any doubt they often answer it. faculties are not very strict. Some teachers are very friendly. I like few faculties because they teach very well and explain the topics and solve our doubts. But there are some teachers who teaches very fast and understanding is difficult in such lectures. There are mainly two exams in one Semester (Internal and End-exam) Internal exams are usually easier in end exam there is therory + practical pattern and end semester exam is bit harder than internal Every year around 5%-10% students failed in the semester examination they got a chance to reapperar in back exam before getting detained.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 87,000 per year for my course. This includes tutuion fees, development fees, exam fees and some other charges like registration and lab fees. For general Category : The Overall fees is around 1.38 lakhs per year For OBC category : The overall fees is around 87000 per year For VJNT category : The overall fees is around 32000 per year For SC/ST category : The overall fees is around 16000 per year The Government provides Scholarships like MahaDBT(Post matric to OBC, VJNT and SC/ST students) This schemes reduces the fees and the tutuion fee waiver schemes saves the tuition fees of the students and other financial aids are provided by the private agencies.

Internships Opportunities

College internship opportunities are highly valuable as they provide numerous avenues to secure positions through universities, private companies, and various organizations, offering both paid and unpaid options. These experiences enable students to gain practical skills, enhance their professional networks, and improve their employability upon graduation.

Placement Experience

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs, less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

Fees and Financial Aid

18000 is the fees I paid for the whole year ,it might increase in every few years but the hike is very minimal. Students from weak financial backgrounds can avail scholarships. Exam fees has to be paid in the end which for me aas 1210 rs however for other categories , it is comparatively less.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum needs to be updates definitely as it is very muuch according to old times and includes concepts which may not be useful in the future. The difficulty level is mostly medium , it is not vety hard to get a good score if you have practiced well

Course Curriculum Overview

Specific curriculum aspects that influence the choice of a course include unique modules that align with your interests and career goals, a program's reputation, teaching and assessment methods, and opportunities like study abroad or internships. You should research the specific content, like whether a course is more theoretical or practical, and choose based on what best path. I took english hnrs because of english is my favourite subject... And about changes in english explanation is the best teaching part in this course .. so I want to change this part of my teacher that's all

Faculty

ndicates a better learning environment, allowing for more personalized attention, but this ratio doesn't guarantee a strong relationship. The faculty-student relationship depends on many factors, including the institution's culture, individual personalities, and the effort both parties make to communicate and connect, though professional boundaries typically exist. Faculty approachability is influenced by institutional policies, faculty members' personal styles, and the student's willingness to initiate contact.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is upto the mark and the academic makes the students ready for the industry. The teaching methods has nothing to change in it. The frequency of the is one exam for one semester which is semester exam. And 2 exams for one semester which are mid exams. Each semester is of 5 months

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is for complete one year which is 165000 which is recently changed to 225000. The fees should be paid in a single payment and there is seperate fees for examination and travelling. The hostel fees is 90000. There is scholarship which is given after qualifying an exam called as EMCET

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good they provide good teaching to students and even help regarding the doubts and staff members , most of them are good there aint any one who student dont like according to the teaching. So minimum 7-8 subjects per sem and each subject has 2 internal exams and 1 sem end exam with 10 marks of assignment in theory subjects and usually it isn't easy and many students fail, but the college provides a chance to clear backlog subjects after the year as summers where staffs are allocated for subjects to teach.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum has been designed in a such way involving the upcoming concepts which helps students learn the future ready skills and involes real open ended projects till 3 rd year and later mini and senior projects to get ready for real world applications, so this concept influenced me to choose the course, well there are some issues like students feel pressurised but by adjusting and thriving they may learn good skills at the end, the timings of the exams are same as everywhere for internals it is 75 mins and for sem end it is 3 hrs
