Expertise in the domain that they teach is must, otherwise Christ University won't appoint faculties. So, expertise, experience, hustle and grind is what all of our faculties have gone through and that is why they have earned respect which they should. Professors are all good but if one name is demanded I would name Poyuraja Sir as the best.
Christ University Bangalore has some peculiar courses as I wanted to do performing arts and even though there are so many private universities in Bangalore only Christ University offers this course. Our fees was 1.15 lakhs a year for those who take hostel facilities have to pay those charges too and they are from 1.2 to 1.6 lakhs a year.
I pay very less amount as my tuition fee i.e. INR 60,000 every year , and college is providing a huge support and quality education as well. The fees of the college varies from Rs 60,000 to 1,35,000 Transportation fees is Rs 15,000 to 20,000 The college is quiet affordable and the faculties of the college are supportive and of very friendly nature. Talking about the education, the college provides regular updates and quality study material to students that helps us acing in the RGPV Examination. The campus of IIST is very beautiful and greenery here is very soothing to eyes. The overall management of the college is also well. Various opportunities are provided for placements and well as internships here.
Various events are organised here . One of them is DAZZLE. This event is organised in the month of APRIL every year. At the same time, various internal hackathons are organised yearly A huge variety of books and research papers are provided here to keep us updated. The faculties are very experienced and aceing in their field and provides us every necessary knowledge. Talking about the campus, it is damn impressive. The view of the campus is so good
Some faculties are genuine nice to the students and are approachable but some don't even listen to students and when approached for something important, they never shows up despite calling them and searching throughout the campus. Prof. Rashmita Behera- her teaching is effortless and she boosts confidence in us. Dr. Juhi Singh- She is the sweetest person and also cares like a mother. Ankita ma'am - She always pushes me to answer and looks forward to my answers. I don't like Prof. Abhilasha Kunjur as she literally ghosted me for 4 months. It was regarding my re-evaluation application which she didn't help me with. The application needed her signature but she never showed up despite telling her how much important it is. There are two exam at the end of the semester. The exams are moderate. Most students pass but there is one problem with the system that it gives you a (F or ER) even to those individuals who completes all their IA and CA. And we just take rounds of colleges and administration and still our problems don't get resolved.
Overall the social environment of campus is friendly. It conducts fests, annual functions and seminars which I personally enjoy. Library doesn't have many books and also no proper management. I am a part of peace club and it works towards peace keeping and peace-building small scale projects.
I am a BCA student. The BCA fee is ?1,35,650 per year. We are required to pay the fee annually. This fee includes tuition fee, admission fee, registration fee, lab fee, development fee and other compulsory charges. At the time of admission, the college also takes a caution money of about ?1500. The money is refundable after the course is completed. students from the general and management category pay the full fee.SC and ST students pay much less fee because they get the government support. some of my SC/ST classmates pay around ?25,000 to ?30,000 per year. There are scholarships like merit-cum-need,SC/ST government scholarships which helps students pay their fees.
The faculty in my college is mostly very good and supportive. The teacher-to-student ratio is around 1:30, so teachers can give enough attention to students. Most teachers are friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with doubts, projects, and career guidance. Some teachers explain topics very clearly with simple examples, while a few focus mainly on theory, which can feel boring at times. Each semester has two internal exams and one final exam. Exams are manageable if we study regularly, but about 10-15% of students may fail. The course syllabus is useful, practical, and releveant for jobs and higher studies.
Some members of the faculties are approachable and friendly, however some are not as they don't take classes and are late to class hence not finishing the course. Dr Meeta Nath who teaches philosophy is very sincere and makes sure the course is understandable, making it easier to understand the topics. She is also punctual and finishes the course within time. Philosophy department is very friendly and approachable. There is only one major exam which happens at the end of the sem. Theory exams are quite easy and the questions are predictable. Most of the students pass in humanities courses. Course curriculum is bit outdated as it is mostly theory so there are not much educational visits , thus lacking in immersive experience.
There is an annual fest which is conducted usually in March or Feb which is quite popular and nicely done. There are a good amount of books available in the library and you need your ID card to borrow from the library. There are not much technological provisions within the classroom. Sports like basketball, football, cricket , volleyball games are regularly played by the students in the campus.
As i mentioned earlier also , for our course specifically the faculty is amazing. Faculty to student ratio is also balanced and they are very cooperative when it comes to approaching them , very helping nature. The names i like to mention are like Dr. Juhi ma'am (i love her because she is the most friendly one and even the mastermind of international relations). Dr. Rashmita behera ma'am (i like her because the number of articles of various profound scholars she use to provide us is totally outstanding). Dr. Madhu jha ma'am (She dive us into the current politics of india , the internal issues like we love to discuss politics with her). Exams vary as per your selection of papers like we have three core subjects then a general elective paper then a SEC , VAC and AEC also. If you choose practical subject than their will be no written exam. If we talk about difficulty level then i would say moderate. Very less number of students fail. Course curriculam is fairly structured but it has some loopeholes at the same time like the paper Western political philosophy that we read in 5th sem should get read with 1st sem understanding political thought.
We have annual function every year along with diwali mela , garba nights , onam celebration , lorhi celebration. Its like all the cultures from different states are respected and celebrated. Their are inter college tournaments held in our college like netball , kho kho , baseball , volleyball , wrestling , kabaddi etc. Yes their are active societies i.e NSS , debate society , theatre society , dance and music societies along with NCC and many others.
The ratio is good. Sometimes when teachers are less in number temp teachers are hired although they are not very qualified in my opinion. Teachers are wonderful, can approach them for all kinds of issues . Juhi ma'am, Rashmita Ma'am, Preeti Ma'am, Ambuja sir , Anchal ma'am. They teach very well and are understanding of students. Not naming but didn't like some faculty because of their laidback approach. Giving marks to students on the basis of popularity and not merit. One exam per sem , difficulty level is medium.
The fees has been 10000- 13000 for all three years. The fees for students of economic honours and BCom are higher >20000. Scholarship can be availed by all students. However it seem a little high for students from economically backward classes.
First of all if some one is choosing presidency for btech the course fees is 375000 for management and through kcet it's 132000 for the category 1 it's 108000 In our clg the placement rate is 50 to 60 percent don't expect more than that and average package it's around 6 lpa and hostel fees is it's around 140000.
In this clg the placement are pretty like 50-60 percent only because the total students in our engineering there are 2500 students. The eligibility criteria for campus is 6.5 cgpa but in our only 1400 students will be eligible for campus placement. In 1400 there will be 650 -700 student get placed.
I choose this course because in future it has more scope many of them are using AI so the course will very helpful in future as of now the curriculum has more scope in this course that influenced me to take this decision.this course will apply in real world problems throughout the academic projects so that you can learn very well.the difficulty of the exams very mid level.
The faculties to students ratio is very good it is about 60:40 and the relationship between the students and the faculties are good and friendly. The exams very not so easy and not so tough it is in mid level if you try means you will clear the papers. Some students may fail but if they try means they will clear all the papers.
The best part about the institute is faculties. they are friendly as well as very well versed with subject. well qualified and experienced. The discipline in the institute is beneficial for holistic development. there are regular guest lectures and other sessions so that students gain the industry experience
Placements are good .. there are regular internships, training, industrial visits sessions.. which makes a student ready for the corporate worls. thet have a dedicated placement and training cell which assist students in all the year which makes them confident and prepare them fir interviews
yes we do have ocassional fests and programmes i spent 4 months in college and in these 4 months we had many fests where many local musicains performed and also we had one program from startup india also we had drugfree campaign in bakshi stadium where we met sri sri ravi shankar the library comprises of 1000's of books covering every genre/subject it contains non fictions fictions academic books etc.. integration of technology is one of the weak point of the college as it is the first ever college built in kashmir since 1880's it still has that old system which needs to be upgraded no this also is the weak point of college there are no studen unions and student politics although there is a nss group but that doesnt count as they are selected not elected having no student politics does impact the students in a bad way like if there is a problem faced by students no one takes the responsiblity to go and tell the management which results in the unfixed problems
faculty to student ratio is arround 1:40 which is pretty good not too crowded, not too sparse. faculty is very helpful students can approach and contact them any time and get any required help i like my physics teacher showkat sir who also is the head of the department of physics . i like him because he teaches and explains physics just like walter lewin you will never get bored in his class
Technical Festivals Include Canva Workshops - which teaches you about how to use canva and how it helps in creating Presentations and other things like Inforgraphics. Overall Features of Canva , Cricket Auctions which include real auctions , players are buyed. Students have given an Amount (assumed 100k). The most highest gross value team will win. 2-3 events per Month. The Oath is takem by Forum Members (Me) on Oath Ceremony. The Class Representative (Me) is one of the forum members and we get badges of our names and T-shirt for FORUM MEMBER.The range of Books and Journals is around 1000-2000 Study Materials and journals around 40-50 including Life of Ramanujan and other big revolutionaries. The facicilities are worst , almost every class has projector but not in working state. most of them get automatically off without any reason. The Library has 20 Personal Computers not even a single is in working Condition. Sports Department is often good , every game is available. But no Yoga Slots avaiable. There are students which are running some groups like reading and movie clubs. Considering portals there are right now only 2 , Which are made by Me BIT STUDENT HUB https: // uthportal . oneapp . dev) for first year students helps everyone to Crack First Year Examinations and Second Biggest Created portal called BIT-NODE (https : // 3rdsemcse .oneapp . dev) , it is the CSE Mega Hub for Students to understad get Study Material and everything they need.I have consistently designed it in a Such a way that students can learn interact and create whatever they want. An online IDE is preinstalled inside it making it vibrant cooler , learning modules and much more.
Course Sepcialities that influenced me is the Course Details which include almost every aspect of Technical Knowledge and Programming Skills as well as it also helps in improving and seeing the world around us. Small things even matter , when you understand the world using this infinite set of knowledge. The Course curriculum is quiet often good when we talk about real world application its good but some parts are not too used in our real life and Further academics. But some parts like Sets and Relation are also in our M.tech.This syllabus prepare us for competitive exams like Gate.Areas that should be improved are basically the real world working , knowledge is too much but not relevant. It should actually contain real life Day to Day Technologies and gadgets.Teaching methods should include animated videos and Specially actual knowledge rather than just craming and reading Slides. The actual is what rather than actual text written in reference and Textbooks. They should give students an opportunity for students to make own apps? rather than using Premade apps. No innovations are open yet , which is really bad thing. The Timming of exams is good and quiet perfect.
Fees was 14.4 Lakh and per rear it was 7 lakhs and in 14.5 lakh lakh includes Registration and security deposits, and everything were included in the 14.4 fess including hostel, mess and other charges. We also have some scholarship for Girls and also provide scholarship for students who scored more than 90%ile in CAT and XAT. Total strength of the batch is 360 students.
it decent and our colledge also some placement policy and limited number of attempts which it would be quite stressful for the students during the placement seasons. highest package as around 17 lpa and median was 7 lpa
The detailed fees structure for the First year is 115603 and from the second year, third year, fourth year it is 109603 there is no lab fees, development fees there is only tution fees which is played at the starting of the year which is written above and the registration fees, security fee is paid in the 1 year only that is 1000 and 5000 and the fees of my batchmate is same as my fees there is no discrimination in the fees based on their category there is only one up goverment scholorship that is given to students for general category student it is 58000 and for the OBC category student it is 52000 and for SC/ST students it is 110000 per year that is given to students whose family income is for general and obc category student is less than 250000 per year and for SC/ST category students it is 200000 per year
The name of the company and role offered is tcs , cognizant, capegimini, accenture, delloite, advant technologies, autodesk, acko, fiserv, infosys, coding ninza ,wayspire and the role offered under internship is software development engineer and stipend they gave arount 15000 to 20000 for the internship period after the internship period is over they gave full placement offer
In my class, there are 60 students which makes the faculty 2 student ratio moderate due to this class size. Individual attention is Limited and but most faculty members are approachable and supportive. If students reach out personal or during class as well. The faculty student relationship is generally respectful and professional. The examination system follows the semester based structure of Delhi University. Each semester includes internal assessments which are test assignments, attendance and one end semester university examination per subject over all the exams are moderate in difficulty manageable with regular study, but concept based rather than very easy.
I would rate the B.Sc. mathematics honours curriculum as good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The syllabus is concept oriented and well strong theoretical foundations which is helpful for higher studies and competitive exams. The topics across semester is structured and this course is quite demanding and can feel intensive specially in the initial semester while the curriculum is academically, strong, incorporating more application based components could make it more better or balanced because it lacks there, and it's not more practically oriented.
In the month of February they celebrates a social fest in every year. They always used to celebrates small small events like teachers day , students freshers , farewell, yearly fest etc. In the fest there was a big event on sports and extracurricular activities on campus and in particularly we have a fair called Art fair which was held by our department ..Those events was so good and helpful for mind and health.
I love Art and this is why i choose Visal Arts. I always wanted to be an artist . Art awlays facinate me and for this I choose to be on this field. They prepared digitally on this digital world . I learned how to use software. They provide different software learning and technique to crack the idea of the particular concept and this is very useful for student.
I enjoy writing content, The classes held on creative writing helped me understand the importance of language and trained me to write for different formats- including press releases, articles. scripts for radio shows, etc. I gained lot of practical writing knowledge while pursuing the course. Subjects like media laws and development communication were taught further during post-graduation diploma. Prior learning hepled me in retaining the concepts well. The 10 marks unit test, held twice a semester were held for 90 minutes, while semester exams (theory), held for 70 marks were completed in 3 hours. The practicals during semester exams were held for 30 marks, which included assignments or file submission and viva.
The teaching faculty of core subjects was friendly and linient with the student. In the second year, (first year was completed through online classes and examinations due to covid-19), the student to teacher ratio was 1:75. Howeaver, during the final year, as we proceeded to choosing specialised subjects, the student to teacher ratio decreased significantly to 1:3 and 1:12, etc. I enjoyed the film direction and radio lab subjects a lot. We had unit tests (weightage- 10 marks) twice a semester and semester examinations (weightage- 70 marks) every semester, They were easy. The course was relevant in my broadcast journalism course later on.
All the faculty is very good in there subjects and in genral knowledge they help us very nicely in our project reports also. and BCA is the technical course also as we learn the differenct language programms also like java, python . and in BCA in every semester i gave 2 times internal exam and 1 time external exams internals are conducted by the college only for the practise purpose of us and externals are conducted by the universities .
The campus life is very good here which i feel as there are so many liberary and the digital liberary is also available which makes our study easy and accessable from everywhere . so many fest's are conducted by the college like fresher's, farewell, cultural fests etc and specially for the technical students they provide us the hackathons also. the classrooms are fully air conditioned and the recorded lectures are also provided to us .
The names of the annual and technical festival along with the months they are typically held is good We have range and accessible of books and journals available in the library and we have facilities and technologies providing within classroom
The annual tution fees for a msc maths at new college chennai are approximately 1.5 lakh the total 2 years. Fees at new college increase slightly each year for new batch and various scholarship are available based on merit and other criteria
in my sourse, i.e. M.A. English Literature, there are 4 subjects each year and can be chossen by students from the given pair of modules, e.g. british literature, american literature, indian literature, etc. Each year a student has to take one full module by selecting only 3 subjects and the remaining one subject is an elective one which is same for all modules and students. The faculties were very good at their work and were available on call whenever we need them. If the class has been cancelled, then our faculty make sure to cover the left part by assigning a new class in between. The classes were in both on line and off line mode. I had total of 4 teachers in 2 years, namely: Amit Sir, Anand Sir, Mohit Sir and Monica mam. All of them are extrememly helpful and qualifies for their role. In Amit Sir, I found my role model and he never disappoints to mark his impressions on his students. Mostly the faculty members were from University of Delhi. The exam pattern was divided into 2 parts, internals (Assignments) and externals (Annual Examination). Although both internal and external parts hold 100 marks, but in the final resultant only 30% of internals and 70% of externals marks are counted, which is very unfair for students as their final percentage dropped by 4-5% in the final result. There is an app where you can download their study material for free, plus you can also buy the study material while submitting your examination fee. It is so far the best content I've read as a beginner in English Literature, and all the subjects are designed in a systematic manner, even I personally used them during my UGC NET preps which I cleared in one go in Assistant Professor category.
Since it's an open university, we do assigned with a study centre (usually nearby colleges of other universities). I live in North East Delhi, so I had given Vivekanand Mahila College, University of Delhi as my study centre. We were allowed to use their libraries and classrooms. A separate IGNOU office was also their for our queries. And teachers were assigned by the same college. The classrooms were good and equipped with good desks and boards, canteen was also good and provide healthy eating options as well. All the college staff were very generous and kind to students and parents. Other than academics, there were no other opportunities provided by the university per say sports, extra curriculum activities and groups, etc.
