Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is very important in today's generation and the highest placement has been from our branch for 2 consecutive years that is from microsoft and the faculty is friendly and professional. The curriculum asks us to do the projects for the respective subjects at the end of the semester where our understanding can be known. Regularly programming assessments are conducted to imprve students skills.

Faculty

The faculty student relationship is very nice and the faculty are very approachable and they provide academic insights to the students. The exam system consists of 2 mids, internals and externals for labs and semester exam. Totally the examination is for 100 where 60 marks from semester exams and 40 from internals and mids, according to the r23 regulation.

Faculty

Faculty Is Equal To Our Students Ratio. Faculty to students relationship is good , student can approach easily to Faculty with their problems and doubts . Our Hod sir Dr. Sudipta Ghosal Is very gentle person with the best management skills in him which have shaped the HM Department in a very Different and Better Way. Tanisha Das , Sumana Ghosal , Namrata Mukhopadhyay, Rajesh Tripathi All these faculties of HM are very very cooperative and very easy to approach. There are few 4 sem exams left for the course and MAKAUT prepares question paper tough . Student Nearly All Clear the exams keeping a very few students with a back. Our course curriculum is up to date

Campus Life

The campusnos of a building which has both Scaler School of Business and Scaler School of Technology. From Innovation Labs to Sick Room, we have it all and because campus is small, hostels are off campus. So, it's a great college and has elevators seperate for students and faculties. A small playground and soon we will have a badminton court as it is getting constructed. Orientation Day and Convocation Day are two of the biggest days celebrated at our college.

Faculty

Faculties of Scaler School of Technology are exceptional and have a talent and knowledge which is best by a margin. So, they teach us the traits and along with that because they have enough experience and exposure themselves they also make sure we are thrown out of our comfort zone. Professor Harsheen is my favourite of all.

Fees and Financial Aid

1.The fee structure is common i.e the scholarships are there.Every year you have to pay about 50000.The scholarships are not regular,so we have to pay some of the amount in 50000.That is yearly 25000-30000.The remaining fee is paid by the government as scholarships. But the the fee paid by you will be received after some time. 2.Total amount of fee for tution, caution, registration, admission, fevelopment, lab and other compulsory charges are about 13000. 3.For our batch mate the hostel fee is 30000.Also,all of my friends paid as like as me. 4.there are scholarships like vasathideebena that can help you to pay the hostel fee .Also you can write scholarship exams with which you can get money.

Faculty

1.The faculty to student ratio is 1:80 for each class. But,they will tell much information and provide knowledge. 2.there are no seperate faculty I liked .I like all of them because they are so frendly and interacts with us. 3.Also there are no faculty I disliked they are good enough. 4.there are three mids and 2 sems for a year.they are not much difficult.only 5%-10% class will have backlogs.

Faculty

The faculty at the college is indeed very friendly including the teaching staffs. They do provide help in case someone is unable to comprehend a particular topic. As our college is affiliated under the Calcutta University, we have two exams the internals and the end semester. The internals are held at the college itself but for the external we are alloted exam centers. The internal question papers are made by college itself and the college does provide the topics to be included in the exam beforehand so it becomes easy for the student to score.

Campus Life

The infrastructure 9f the college is already good and is constantly under development. A vast number of curriculum activities are offered to us students including sports and quizzes and many more. Out annual fest ripples is also one of the best attraction 9f our college where celebrity singers are invited to perform during the winter period.

Faculty

All the faculty members are very nice and have good nature, but the relationship between any two people considers the efforts of both the persons. So, the teacher student relationship also consists efforts of both of them. One of my real experience is i have done some things like turning off screen which i know disrespects the teacher, but i have never done it when any lecture was going on, i have only done it twice or thrice when teacher was not in our class, but many students gave my name to teacher because one day before there was some oral fiights between me and some students and next day they gave my name and there is no proof that i have done that but still our teacher think that i have done that in their class. Our class consists of two sections and our one sections consists more than 50 students, and there are many students who did these things but no one looked at them. The only thing is students show there personal grudges like this and then teacher is also not going to understand this.

Fees and Financial Aid

As i am student whoes parent's annual income is less than 5 lakhs so i got consession in my fees. My annual fees for my program (Mechanical Engineering) is 90000 approx. My batchmates who have annual income of less than 1 lakh , there fee is 40000 for a year, whereas whoes income is more than 5 lakhs yearly, there fees is 2 lakh approx. But there are many scholarship programs which provide some relief from fees and help students to achieve their education.

Faculty

At Haldia Institute of Technology, the faculty-to-student ratio is roughly 1:25 in most branchesSo, in a class of 60–70, there are 2–3 professors who handle core subjects each semester. In general, the faculty-student relationship is friendly but formal. If you approach them sincerely, they help a lot — but you have to take the initiative. Professors rarely chase you for projects or assignments; you have to go to them.

Placement Experience

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

Course Curriculum Overview

So in our batch 4 options were available that is Finance, Marketing, Human resourse and IT, some students wanted to open operation also but due to lack of students in that domain it didn't opened. I opted for Finance and Marketing because I had interest in Marketing and for finance I choose because it was the best option I feel was present among all others. IT was new and had very out dated course which is not at all relevant in today's market. HR was fine but the college placement in that field was very poor. So talking about Marketing both the course and facilities were good, the course was relevant and had many options according to the students interest. The marketing course was latest and very relevant, whatever I had learned in that course it definitely helped me out in my job. Faculties were very knowledgeable and their way of explaining things and the notes they use to provide were very good and it really helped me out during the exams also. I feel like according to real-world application it was 8/10. Talking about Finance my experience was ok ok,not so good, not so bad, the facilities were very good but as finance is a complex subject their notes didn't helped me out so much. According to real-world application it was 6/10.

Placement Experience

So the college placement is pretty impressive. After 2nd semester or from the starting of 3rd semester the companies start to visit the campus. From reputed organizations to banks, to all other companies visit the campus. Every company has different criteria for students to get selected but mostly the companies criteria list consists of no backlogs, about 70% in 10th,12th and graduation year and some written exams and GD & PI. In my batch if I'll talk about banks Axis,HDFC, IndusInd Bank, IDFC irst bank, ICICI prudential etc had visited. Other companies like Career mantra, Fundroom, corizo, intellipat, academor, home first finance, stratview research, bajaj Allianz, ESAF small finance, haleon, solarsquare, bhanzu, Shriram finance, berger paints, Rinex, dhanguard, jaro education, Nipon, TTEC , Gradguru , vrize, planet spark, etc had visited. The companies which were in Chhattisgarh were offering 3-4lpa and other which were outside the Chhattisgarh were offering 7-8 lpa, banks were offering 4-5lpa in Chhattisgarh. The ROI was good according to the fee structure of the college but the packages were not so impressive with the designation so only 25% of the students from my batch were placed.

Faculty

Students ratio are offcourse large than faculty members. And the relationship between students and faculty members are well good. I belong to BCA department so I like the FSH faculty. Their is no such faculty that I didn't like None Exam are easy if you understand the concept of study. There are two CT's exams and the. Model exam and then final semester exam. It not very tough to pass the exams but for some students who have very marks or very less attendance they might fail.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose to take BCA degree from my school time. Curriculum in this college is well. But it can be more better. It should improve in cybersecurity also in AI Exam in this college is not very difficult. If you understand the concept well you can score better.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at NIT Jalandhar is highly relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. The inclusion of updated core and elective subjects, programming labs and industry oriented projects influenced my decision to join .The curriculum equips students well for real world applications internships and further studies with a strong focus on current technologies and skills in demand. Exams are held mid semester and end semester each term with regular assignments contributing to evaluation they are moderately challenging if you keep up with the coursework. Areas for improvement include introducing more industry linked workshops, practical case studies and soft skills training. Enhanced use of interactive teaching methods and greater flexibility in Electives would make the programme even more elective for students career goals overall the curriculum is both rigorous and adaptable to current industry needs preparing students for a wider range of professional paths .

Faculty

The student to faculty ratio was fine. For me, it didn't felt like an issue. Generally, professors were really kind and understanding, basically really approachable. For me, faculties from Philosophy department they were the sweetest human beings I've ever met. They were the best professors- in terms of imparting education, guiding us in academics and in life too. This scenario is my living example of you can be best at your job and still be the nicest person in the room. Because generally it is said that teachers have to be harsh on their students. It was always like too good to be true moment. Special mention to Simmi Valecha mam for her sweetest gestures like treating her students with something to eat because it used to be an afternoon class and we had to miss our lunch for it. I would not say that I disliked any professors as such but coming across professors from Philo department, i could not like professors from other departments on the same level. But my overall experience in terms of teachers was fortunately really good. There used to be 6 semesters for 3 year BA course. We have to submit assignment for certain weightage (lesser) and give semester exams for the rest which carried around 80% marks. Generally students used to pass (90%) For some unfortuna unfortunate students, there was an option of re exam. Best part was the timing. I mean very punctuql with their schedule. No delays so ot really helps in planning. Course curriculum till that time war relevant and at paar with what i have expected. Coming from science stream I got to study Arts from the faculty of Miranda it was a good experience overall. Although as I changed my stream so I've had my share or bottlenecks. Overall it was good.

Campus Life

Life apart academics was really colorful at the college. There usually used to be different talks goings on from different departments and you can choose to be a part of any of them. Different societies held their selection processes right after admission process closes so it gets started from the beginning only and when you are a part of them your life gets busy in a good way. I joined the Taekwondo team even after coming from non sports quota so it was quite new experience. I got the chance and joined it. taekwondo training used to be the best part of my day. It was in the morning before the classes begins. Although for some other societies they used to manage their preparation and everything depending on the classes as per the schedule. So yes it was difficult for some to manage since timetable could not be changed as per different societies. For people coming from sports background they can check for their sports ans apply for sports quota admission as well. Our annual cultural fest is called TEMPEST. It is the most AMAZING time of the year coming around Feb and March. One perk of being in a Miranda was that you can be a part of other college fest easily. You can have a social life outside of college as well since other colleges are nearby and intermingling can give you friends for life as happened in my case. Student life is one of the best in DU. For me that is still the best time of my life. And I still want to go back to that time.

Faculty

There are so many teachers with many years of experience. Some teachers are even externals who come to teach here. I love the classes of Dr. Govindappa who is teaching sociology. Very interactive class. There is also Dr. Shaan whose classes is very good. Exams happen semester wise and there is also internal exams and lab exams. The course curriculum follows the syllabus of Rajhiv Gandhi University. Our college is affiliated to INC Approval too.

Internships Opportunities

The college only provide internships for the best 40 students of the batch in hospitals under or parent hospitals of the college. It includes Cloud9, ovum etc. Most students get scholarship by directly applying in different hospitals directly or most students apply for internship in their home town for better experience and convenience. Students will be selected based on academic performance and also based on internal marks and interview.

Faculty

I am pursuing B.A. program in Economics as a major subject and political science as a minor subject. Faculty members i.e. my professors change in every semester. They are very approachable to all the students. Each semester is of six months and we have mid sem exams too. In one year, there are 2 semesters. And as I am BAP student so I will get a graduation degree after 3years i e. 6 semesters in total.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quiet decent . We don't have a so-called night life because it is a girls college and a day college. NSS is the social group of our college which has given a recognizable face to our college outside the delhi University. I am not involved in sports but we do have a pretty large sports complex.

The faculty-to-student ratio is somewhat low, I felt like the faculty is low in number according to the students. I can't disclose the names of the faculties I didn't liked but they were being ignorant towards the student. But there were also faculties who did very good with the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees I've paid for this course is 80,000 per year. The tuition fees I've paid was 40,000 and the registration fees were very different accordingly like a 1000 or 2000. Other than me my batchmates who were SC, ST and OBC were paying much less (That's good)

Campus Life

Campus Life is not that great here, but as I am not staying in hostel and get to go back home in evening it's fine for me but with rest to hostellers I feel campus is very small and far away from city making it a inconvenience. There's a nnual fest organised in April of each year which is quite good to enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did my btech in electronics and communication engineering, but I had my interest towards Artificial Intelligence branch hence wanted to do masters in this branch. The curriculum prepares us well to enter to corporate world or entering to ateaching profession or even if we want to continue for higher studies like PHD
