Campus life in SRM is great with a balance in academics and extracurriculars . The University hosts 2 major fests - "Milan" during trhe month of march and "Aarush" conducted in the month of September . The Central Library is spacious and well stocked with over 1.5 lakh books, academis journals, research papers, e-books and subscriptions to databases like IEEE and Springer. Classrooms are digitally enabled , with smart boards , projectors , Wi-Fi , and cofatable seating . SRM offers strong support for sports and extracurriculars with facilities like cricket ground , indoor badminton courts , football ground , gym and a stadium . Threre are over 50 student run clubs like Dbug labs , SRMkzilla , GSDC , Microsoft ambassador club , Coding ninjas , Robocon , Rudra etc .
The faculty to student ratio in the ECE department is approx 1:20 . while classes were significantly large , students can approach professors during office hours or after class , especially thpose involved in research or project based learning . I like faculty like Dr Sukanya Ghoah, she has very good in Digital electronics and VLSI. I also like Dr. T, Saminathan for signals and systems for his interactive teaching style and deep conceptual clarity. We have a final exam or end sem for 40% and rest internal we have 60% which is calculated based on our performance in the cycle tests , assignments and project works . Overall the course curriculum is quite industry relevant which is updated regularly wirh some outdated subjects .
There are many faculties available the relationship between faculty and students is good. Faculties try to strive us towards excellence. Some of them are good some may be kind of egoistic. There are quizzes for internal exams total 70 marks for internal and end sems are for 30 marks all exams are computer based.
They have two fest and many cultural competitions going on throughout the year. They have a vast Library but can be better. Classroom have AC's and smart boards.sports is also supported they have a Futsal court inside there's indoor badminton and they have music clubs as well theres even a modeling club and so
The fees for BBA varies from 35,000 to 37,500 (excluding exam fees, bus pass, library fines, development, miscellaneous). The lab & library "development" fees are both 1500. There's also something called as arrear fees & revaluation which costs 200 & 1000 per paper. One advantage of joining the college is that there are lot of financial aid for sport students. Their fees are comparatively cheaper than what normal people will pay. This is ridiculous though as they also need not attend classes. The college does provide scholarship opportunities for low income groups. The people who apply for scholarships should not have a household income of more than 10K per month.
Unfortunately the curriculum of BBA is a bit different compared to all other courses. The main important subjects are Financial Accounting, Business Laws, Quantitative Aptitude, International Economics and Retail Marketing. There is this one faculty that made the whole class forget everything. Her name is Ruqaiya. She compares dividend policy with gulab jamun, cupcake in road.... it was so hilarious. All our faculties have no idea what to teach at all
There are two course B.A.LL.B (hons) and BBA.LL.B (hons) i choose ba llb because the law subjects are better societal purpose so, thought to be take ba llb over bba llb in ba llb in first year we were having torts ,contract ,sociology, eco, legal english, legal method ,pol sci then in 2nd year there constitution, motarvehicle act, consumer act with socio, and pol sci till 3rd year the subjects of B.A is there but after from 4 th year onwards only law subjects will be there. AS law is very interesting the judgements the example the logical approch the case study . You will get to know much this world is cruel ,the biased judgement decision which feels bad yes they exist. There must be a subject which must be based on practical approch as student must know the terms of court the realworld some how lil bit which teaches or prepare students befor stepping into the court world yes internship is mandate which teaches but a subject which teaches lil before hand to be a not a new to court rules and regulation it must be introduced. The exams are moderate if you study ofcourse the timing is 3 hr is end sems you have to study very much and have to rite in syncronization manner hich looks presentable.
In the first year of college, I paid Rs. 1,90,137. I got a concession on fees by some percent due to my 12th board marks. People who get 80 to 90 percent or 90 percent above in the 12th boards get more scholarships. Before the beginning of next year, you have to pay the fees. As the 2nd year began, I paid the fees of Rs 1,61,171 because i got the scholarship of Rs 35405. Then in the 3rd year, I paid Rs 184099 here, I got the scholarship of Rs 18233. Now I have given my 3rd year end sem, I have paid my 7th semester fees. The fee structure includes 5000 of examination fees and 5000 of Registration fees in addition to acedemic fees. The scholarship thing is good in Sharda because one of my friends got a 100% scholarship as she scored 10 CGPA in her first year. The scholarship percentage depends on which category your CGPA lies in. In law it depends on student and the level of hard level of examination The scholarship is based like in b-tech if you have score 9.4 CGPA it depends how much scholarship you will get if the number student had scored is more than your CGPA, then you will get less CGPA but if the no. is less than you will get more Scholarship.
Every year the department of MBA coduct a festival calla " FENSTA " it is conduct in the month of december. The college has a huge library as well as they provide all type of journals in the college. They also have club activity which take place once every month and they have certain and the students have to join the club

So in second year engineering or in third year engineering, our college provides internship to us. To learn different aspects here the best part is in SIMER there are committees, who handles different responsibilities like Social initiative committee who handles different social activities like blood donation camp, visit at old age home, special child schools etc. Also one of the committee is Events committee who handles all celebrations, conducting team building exercise, also they conduct mega event which is SIMFIESTA. Sports committee conduct Mega event like SIMFROLIC.
Best part is faculties only. As SIMER is the only one college in Chhattisgarh where there is just one course which is PGDM other colleges has multiple courses. So all resources like faculties are for this batch only. In take is just 60 so ratio is sufficient. All faculties give proper attention to all students. All faculties are well educated, best in there respective subjects.
The faculties are very approachable. They are experienced, and many of them are PhD holders. The university also provides mentorship for the students to navigate through their college days, as suggested by the UGC guidelines. The university also provides faculty who guide us with our research projects. There are 6 subjects, the first year has 4 BA subjects, which reduces in the following years. Mr. K. Govinda Rajan (Contracts), Ms. Hemalatha Bhat (Sociology), Ms. Rajeshwari Pari (Family Law), Mr. Mohammad Azad, Mr. Anil Kumar (English), and Mr. Subba Rao (Political Science) are some of the best professors who have taught me in the first year.
The course is quite rigorous with back-to-back research projects, exams, and vivas. But if you enjoy learning and are passionate about it, you will get through it. The course requires a compulsory internship every year that bridges the gap between the classroom and the real world. As for the exams, we have a mid-semester (2 hours) for 30 marks and an end-semester (2.30 hours) for 40 marks. The research project carries 20 marks, and the viva carries 10. The pass mark is 50. There are repeat exams after every semester, which provide a chance for students to improve their marks without arrears.
the BCA curriculum at NGM college is well-structured and offers a strong foundation in core computer science subjects like C,C++, Java, Python, DBMS, Operating system, Networking one of the reason I chose this course was because my friends joined this course and it includes both theoritical and practical components, which is essential for a career in IT The syllabus is moderately relevant for real world applications, especially for students who wish to purse careere in software development, database administration, or futher stuies like MCA or M.sc However it lacks exposure to trending tchnologies like cloud computing, machine learning, and app development . the teaching methods mostly involves classroom lectures and occasional lab session. though the basic are wll taught, more interactive and project-based teaching metjods like live coding, group projects or internships couldmake the course more effective the frequency of exam was 3 exams every semester exam duration was 3hours most of the exams are easy
I currently pursuing a BCA degree at NGM college the year wise fee structure I have paid and I will be paid 1st year tuition fees 48000 that includes lab fees and library fees and exma fees is 2100 totally 50100. 2nd year slighlty increased I paid 2500 for exam fees and 50000 that includes tuition fee lab fee and library fee totally 53000. 3rd year expected amount is 55000 fees are expected to increase slightly due to inflation and revised lab fees management quota students generally pay higher fees around 50000 to 70000 based on courses SC/ST category eligible students recieve government scholarships , so their net payable amount is significantly reduced and they will able to join Aided courses. government scholarships for SC/ST covers tuition and lab fees fully or partially based on family income
After 3rd year students are eligible to apply for on campus internships and in 4th year 6 month internship is compulsory. Campus life is vibrant with active clubs in tech , arts and sports . Social events and fests boost engagement the infrastructure is modern with labs , libraries and wifi some feel strict rules limit freedom but overall the environment supports learning
The college offers internships from 6th semester with firms like TCS , Infosys , and wipro there is also an Internship program providing global exposure and stipends though i haven't pursued one yet but opportunities are ample for students

The annual fest is manipuri fastival hackathon and many flashmob take place. Also all the fastivals are celebrated in my college. There is a medium size library with lots of books. The facilities are very poor inside classroom as fan don't work properly neither lights nor windows shut down properly.there are many sports activities like badminton chess football etc there are many clubs that are run by student in a college some are dance club photographic club etc.
I wanted to choose a course related to journalism so i choose this course in presidency university because it seemed like a fit option, we can see curriculums on our dedicated apps called linways, the exam timings are concluded in breaks which can be days or timing
Faculty is nice and good and helpful aswell, Padmavathi .S ma'am , Sharth A Pradeep sir , Arun Choudhary sir . They are specific about their subject and good teaching methods. They critique the approach, not the personality and Be constructive.
The faculty to student ratio is good, there are so many faculties and the number of student per calss are limited. The cirriculam design is good and in depth. The exams system is contious eveulation, result is not just based on the final sem exam. Some of the Faculties are really good the ability they have to make you understand the topic is really great.
Usualy placements are held in last year and in some courses last sem consists of Internship. So for MCA students placements starts at Sem-3 and Internship starts in Sem-4. Big campus often visits campus like Google, Microsoft, Oracle and so many more.
Faculty of commerce department in andc college is good surinder kaur mam Jitendra goel sir and many more are supportive and good . As college follow nep so there you have to opt sec vac courses so if you opt cources of other departments so there are few teachers who are not good they intentionally cut marks like in digital empowerment my marks was intentionally cut .
