BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

BIT provides various chances for placement in different types of companies majorly in India. Different types of companies come to our university in order to find good and intelligent employees for their companyies. Students are eligible for campus placement in the 3rd or 4th year of their courses. Companies such as cipla, microsoft, wipro come for placements of students. Highest average package is 5100000 per annum and lowest package is 500000 per annum.

I was phd student so for me the pre thesis was the final call where i could think of joining some college or persue my career further in the research direction. However the placement is very good here.

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. Luckily we are less in numbers and therefore 90% students from our batch were placed from here. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters from US.

The campus placements re not so preety good enough. There are placements but not for the higher salaries, a common base salaries placements are there There many big companies that visit the college premises.

The placements scenario considering the market trend is actually good in the Core as well as IT sector . People of their choice get companies to have a placement talk . With CSE performing the best at an average of 18 LPA CTC .

The students are eligible for the campus placement in the final year (7th semester). The placements offered are decent with 18 lacs being the average for computer science and my branch chemical engineering has the average of 8.5 lpa . Large number of companies pay a visit around 100 companies which includes large companies like ITC, Cognizant, Zomato etc. The placement was 78% this year. Highest placement ratio was in the mechanical department which saw placement of 85% students. The highest package offered in the campus placement was rupees 31 lakhs by cognizant to a student of the computer science branch. I plan to set in the campus placement in the last year and then after working for 2 or 3 years I want to pursue an MBA.

Students are eligible for internships in 6th sem. The companies for placements come to the campus from 7th sem onwards. The average package for my branch is 8 lpa. Almost all of the students who are eligible get placed.
