No. MMMUT B.Tech admission is completely separate from UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling). MMMUT runs its own counselling at mmmut.admissions.nic.in on the NIC Samarth platform. Candidates who register for UPTAC are not eligible for MMMUT seats through that process.

What is the TFW scheme at MMMUT and how do I apply?

GATE-qualified candidates admitted to MMMUT M.Tech also receive a monthly stipend as per AICTE norms.

No. MMMUT is a state government university. It does not offer any management quota or institutional quota seats. All B.Tech admission is strictly merit-based through JEE Main 2026 scores via the MMMUT counselling portal. There is no direct admission route outside the counselling process.

What is the PhD URF fellowship at MMMUT?

MMMUT offers a University Research Fellowship (URF) of INR 18,000 per month for a duration of 3 years to selected PhD scholars. The fellowship is separate from any externally funded assistantship.
