NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are very good here For tech Highest - 1 Crore, Average - 17-18 lacs, Non tech, Highest - 20-22 Lacs, Average - 8-12 Lacs, Companies include Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Bain and Co, ZS Associates, Axxela etc.

From 7th sem, students are allowed I guess. Every big national and international company that has a presence in India visits NSUT. For a privy year, the highest CTC offered internationally was 1.25cr and domestically was 60L

From the end of the 3rd year or after getting degree students are eligible for campus placements. Around all tech companies visit and offer very interesting offers many students also get packages in crores. Google, Amazon, FB, these companies offer very attractive offers and many students grab them. Around 90% of students get placed. I want to get placed in one of these companies.

NSUT is mainly known for its placements person studying in it can get placements easily . Google , Microsoft, Facebook all big companies visit here for internships and jobs . Percentage of students getting placement is more than 60 . Highest package can go upto 40 to 50 lakes in india.

Placements of tech branches in NSUT are more than 90%. As most of the companies visited there are tech companies like Google, Infosys, Amazon, uber therefore placement of core branches is not as good as tech branches still student manages to get decent placement from college. For tech branches, the Highest salary package for last year was 78LPA and the average was 15LPA for non-tech branches average salary package was 8 LPA, and almost 75% students got placed from college itself.

All the details regarding placements can be found ON NSUT website . although i dont know much about placements being a fresher , but what i heard is that more than 300 companies visited with max package going to 1.25CR and min 5LPA . Most of the students here go towards higher education like MBA/MTech or else they go towards Civil Services exam /UPSC . I am planning to Go towards MTech as post graduation , i.e appear in GATE examination . Detailed reports regarding placements can be found on website , as mostly senoirs know about it .

My college has all the necessary infrastructure and maintains them properly, very good equipment in laboratories. Well, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports grounds, and gyms are properly maintained. But when you come to wifi there will be some network issues due to the low signal area, which the college was located. The hostel also has wifi facility and it is better when compared to classrooms, Food is served clean and hygienic.

The placements rates are moderate for lower branches but are very high for branches like Computer Science, Information Technology. The college must have to arrange more placement opportunities for students enrolled in the Mechanical branch, bio-tech. My plan is to get a decent placement from the university and after that would look to study further to get a chance in the government sector.

According to me, it's 8 semesters but you also have an option to internship campus provide you internships of various companies like Samsung, Google and Microsoft and many other companies and you should also apply to affected campuses.

A lot of companies visit the college, making it one of the best colleges in India. For branches with low closing ranks like CSE, the percentage of students placed is generally 100%. This percentage decrease as we proceed lower. But the average percentage fluctuates between 70-100%.
