Jagannath Barooah College is a prestigious and best college of Assam. The faculties of this college is excellent. Teaching and learning quality is praising. The college is a autonomous college and affiliated by Dibrugarh University. So that I got admission in this college.

Preferred subject was available. Also the college have a good reputation as being the first autonomous college of Assam. The infrastructure is developed along with facilities for sports an indoor stadium is built. Have labs and libary to explore more. The college also provides residential hostels for boarders. The institution also offers free WIFI to students for connectivity.

College is in close proximity to my home, The faculty of my course are very good as majority of them are Phd holders, College provides decent placement considering the ROI. Highest placement was recieved by MBA grad of Finance specialisation - 10 lakhs. Average package 3.5-4 LPA

Remarks:
Good academic curriculum and good environment. Also the teachers are very nice and cooperative. I chose Mechanical Engineering because it is a type of course which has a lot more options in future. Also I love the automobile stuff very much.

Nice studying environment with the latest technologies included for practicals. Moreover hostels are clean.the market is near.we also have a University market too near to the University. The Faculties are highly qualified. The University has a nice view for leisure walks in the evening.

Jagannath Barooah College was established in 1930 and it is the second college of Assam. The college is autonomous college and affiliated by Dibrugarh University. The college reaccredita with A grade to NAAC. Most importantly the teaching quality of this college is excellent.

What is your review of Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering Technology DUIET?

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.
Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.
The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.
Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
