Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students become eligible at 6th sem for placements, Wipro, Infosys, tata, etc. The highest package offered by company is 7 lakhs and average package is 3lakhs20 thousands The boy who are deserving and eligible only get placement.No other who is not good dnt get any placements. My plan is to give CDS exam which was conducted by UPSC and to get commissioned in Indian Army as a officer.

Our college does work with some of the major recruiting companies worldwide. The IT sectors and commerce sectors do get good placements. But in general, the placement might not be that good for everyone since it's not on that level as of now.

Last year students become eligible for campus placements. But placements are very low. Minimum companies visit campus. Approximately 50% of students got placements. According to me, 12 lakh per year is the highest package. My plan after my degree is to study for the government job exam.

Campus placements are good here and rising every year. The average package has risen to 8 lacs while the highest was around 32 lacs on campus. About 80% of students get placements from here. Every year, companies like KPMG, TCS, American express, policy bazaar, etc. visit the campus.

Placement at our college is not bad, every year various companies come to give placements. In placement cells, various students come to the cell for jobs or to get experience in it. And they select the students and give them an offer.

I choose BCA because there is a lot of scope for it in the future, you get very good facilities of labs and other things in college for the practice of coding and other things the staff members have very nice behavior they teach you as much good and explain difficult steps in an easy method.

I choose BCA because I have so much interest in the IT sector and I think better future inside the IT sector. The faculty is so good, the teacher is so much helpful at the time of admission. And students come regularly but only selected not all. some Faculty teachers don't take proper lectures or ask to learn from Google. Every teacher has so much experience in teaching and they teach well every topic. Every 6 months or between 6 months semester exam will be conducted and those who study well on a regular basis definitely pass.

Colleges also provide placements before the end of the final year, companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, Infosys, etc. come and provide placements to the students those students who are eligible can give tests in placements and get placed.

From 8-semester students become eligible for campus placements. We are visited by different companies like monte Carlo, JW Marriott, Hayat, etc. I plan to go abroad for a job because many opportunities are waiting for me.

Being a government college, UIET faculty is all Ph.D. and has a good experience in real-world projects too. Students to faculty ratio are good. In a semester there are 3 exams that are not so difficult to clear.
