In the IIT Gandhinagar, the course curriculum is based on semester wise exams. All of the faculty are well qualified and well versed in their field. Every faculty is very helpful and you can interact one to one with them after the class. I have completed Graduation in the mathematics and IITs also providing masters degree in mathematics, so we choose M.Sc Mathematics. There were semester wise exams and in every semester we had a mid-sem exam and end-sem exams. apart from this, there was Quizzes every 15-20 days.
Fees are expensive when you compare it with other institutions in India. However, if you take account of its premium status, the fees looks feasible to me. No, there are no additional charges that are to be paid to secure the admission, and the fee structure is very transparent and available readily on internet.
Course curriculum is very-much relevant and research-oriented, however it lacks to impart industry-specific knowledge. However, most of the students learn the relevant skills required through internships, or some online courses o such. Industrial visits are not frequent in our branch, however it is common in some of the other branches.
Program fee for Btech civil engineering in 2017 was somewhere around Rs. 50000. Apart from this there is a mess fee and hostel fee of Rs. 15000. The fee is pretty much uniform for everybody apart from certain students who have secured scholarships. There is no external charges paid to secure the course and offers are rolled out purely on basis of merit.
Course curriculum is highly research driven and is meant to prepare you for the Indian Engineering scenario. It is relevant to the current developments in the engineering field and focus is on project oriented learning. Industrial visits are conducted whenever necessary and possibly.
My semester fees is 153000 per semester including hostel and mess it is a little expensive looking at the efforts we put to get there but facilities are also best. College accepts fees thourough their online portal and fees structures is transparent and quite convincingly.
Curriculum is industry-specific and mostly our institute is research-oriented a lot of students go abroad for higher studies. a lot of industry visits are organised as part of our course structure and internship opportunities are given as our college has for ups with many industries also we are given semester long projects to work with industries.
Fees is bit expensive but education loan is provided with any interest rates. There are many scholarships that students can avail. There are additional charges for hostel mess and laundry, which are compulsory if you Live in hostel. Other than that there is exam fees library fees etc.
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar started the bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering in 2016 and the first batch is yet to graduate. In terms of curriculum, IITGN is not very good. It makes you complete 8 humanities courses which leaves us with no time to pursue other things.
The fee structure of M.Sc student at IIT GN is not too expensive. Total Fee for a M.Sc student at IIT GN is approx 40,000 per semester, hostel fee, mess fee are included. You do not have to pay any other.
For Msc in IIT, you have to clear entrance exam named IIT-JAM. The curriculum of exam is not very tough. Most of the topics are from graduation but level of questions are little high. So you have to prepare for the exam.
Feasible. There are also waivers for students with low parental income. If annual parental income is below ?1lakh, full tution fee waiver is given to student, and if the annual parental income is between ?1 lakh and ?5lakh, 66% tution fee waiver is given.
When one opts for a discipline/program, there are some compulsory subjects with respect to discipline and there are optional courses too. For a b.tech degree, one has to complete 172 credits. Passing each course gives you specific number of credits. There are course instructors who decide the exam structure and it's weightage in final score of the course. Also the weightage is announced at the start of the course. Grading depends on final score.
I don't think the fee structure is expensive. I was a msc student. My fee was ?40000 per semester. It contain tuition fee, hostel fee, mess charges, laundry and for all facilities which I got in hostel.
The course curriculum of entrance exam is very simple. Almost all topic come from graduation, but level of questions are little high. So you have to prepare for this exam. Exam paper is divide into 3 parts, 1st part contain 30 questions, 2nd contain 10 and 3rd contain 20. So in total, 60 questions of 100 marks.
Fees structure is a little bit expensive. We have to pay 15000/- for flooding and lodging and 35,000 For academics purpose. Also, the laundry the The Charge is included. 5000 is caution money. This fees included everything.
Course structures are all right. But still, I think a little bit of modification is needed to The course structure. I think the lab work should be increased and the proper experimental lab is needed.
Fees have risen for the last two years. It is around 1.25 lacs per semester including the mess fees. There you will find many scholarship programs and they differ in each branch.
The course curriculum is good and easy. It has many humanities courses. And once you complete the required credits for graduation you can choose and study any course being offered in the semester. The faculties are also lenient.
