- Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
- It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.

- Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
- Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
- There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

- The Faculty is very good! The professors are very qualified, they have strong Alumni Network , Campus is very beautiful, lush green and peaceful as it is one the most beautiful campus in India, It is located on the banks of Dal lake! Good Infra!!!!!!
- The crowd is very good, students from all over the india comes here to study so you will see a good diversity here! Local students are very supportive and helpful! Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, Air conditioners, Modernly built!!!!!!
Dislikes
- Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6Lpa!
- Extra curricular activities are dead here, if you are someone who loves sports and another activities apart from studies then its not a good place to study!
- Teachers are qualified but they are very egoistic,unsupportive and they put a lot pf pressure on academics so if you are someone who wants to explore new opportunities you wont get time to get them!
Placement Experience:
From the 7th sem onwards students become eligible to apply for on-campus placements. A lot of good companies also visit here including top MNCs, PSUs, etc. The highest package for the batch was 24 Lpa. On campus, by Samsung R&D. The Average package was around 7 Lpa. Around 40-50% got the placement overall, with CSE and IT being on the top. I will be preparing for higher studies through the gate, etc.

- The weather is something to die for which makes the place comfortable
- Finding things which amazes you and new to you
- The professors are very into teaching you new stuffs
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities for both girls and boys is very disappointing
- There is no staff cooperative when it comes to hostel facilities or mess facilities
- The food there is quite poor quality and the college people wont allow you to go out often
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement.The placements here are decent oncampus and easy to take but if you go offcampus for the placements it get tougher so building your personality also places important role in getting placed

- The foremost thing is that campus is really beautiful.
- The placements are decent as well. For CSE and ITE, it's almost 100%.
Dislikes
- Hostel Accomodation : For 1st year, each room is shared with 5 mates.
- Some professors are not passionate about teaching.
- Campus is relatively small ie around 67 acres

There is a mandatory internship that you have to do in 3rd year. On this basis students starts to get internships from 3rd semester. During 5th semester itself, almost all the CS IT students get placed.

The placements at my college are very decent. It depends on your skills . The training and placement cell is very active. The average package is 140000.

- firstly the college has awesome weather and mesmerizing view and college has good reputation as it was established in year of 1956.
- Nit srinagar as one of the most reputed college in india has coding culture awesome.you can get good coding culture which will enhance your coding performance and will help you in future to crack multinational companies packages and FAAMG companies .
- As it was established in the year of 1956 due to its heritage and historic age this college has great alumni network and will motivate you to work like them.seminars are also held to motivate students to crack good packages .
Dislikes
- The weather here is too cold so for the students who are allergic to cold might cause some issues/problems.
- Travelling issue as it is located on tophills of srinagar .
- Must be a problematic for those who are vegetarian as outside non veg in dominating .
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students are elegible to give placements and internship opportunities open after completing 4 semester.Companies like infosys , nvidia , tech mahindra , tata tcs , wipro , vedanta , and far more companies psu also gail , bhel , hp , bp
if no placements you get then you have the chance of offcampus placements.

- Nit Srinagar is best college in india have best facilities also . Everything is good b places like library have less no of sitting should be increasedut some
- Campus Life is also best there become many friends and interaction with seniors are good
- Faculty are highly educated and qualified they teach in best way to deliver knowledge to students

- Every many companies come to Nit Srinagar for offering placement,jobs to students and everyear placement is very good in nit Srinagar .They have strong alumini network also
- Infrastructure is very good in nit Srinagar and some construction work is also going on to making it best
- Course curriculum is same as other nits have which IS Best course curriculum designed by NBA which tech in a way that help a lot in our professional and personal life
Placement Experience:
Placement is major for choosing any college but in nit Srinagar placement is very good in CS it mech ele ece branches have placement rate more than 100% and and branches like metlurgy chemical civil have good placement also in every branch special cs it ece ele mech 90% student get placed and in mechanical branch many students get placed in psu also mechanical is best core branch in nit Srinagar

- hostel facility is not so good very less accomodation
- mess facility is the worst they didn't know how to make a good and tasty food
- sports ground are not good and not maintain

Palcements in college are below average . If you want to get the on campus placement you need to be very good in the skills and different from others. if not placed you can try to get off campus placement also or can give any other exams like upsc,ssc,gate etc.

- Nature is good feels fresh air with very less air pollution and also less noise pollution.

- Street food is one of the major dislike i feel
- There auto fare ans other transportation fare is very high

There is dedicated Training And Placement department for placing the student by inviting the companies, 4 th year is for the T& P session for each student where he/she can get the placement. But college do not take any step for the internship on the 3rd year.
